Rufnit Falicia (Lottie) has successfully passed the Natural Ability Test organized by the Delaware Valley Chapter of the NAVHDA on the 10th June 2007.

Two more dogs from Shari Stueck has successfully passed their natural ability test, Bill/Foster and Rufnit Hattie. To be noticed: Foster was under antibiotics, following an injury at the foot. This medication induces a decrease of the sense of smell in dogs, so he has more merit to have succeded.

It was important that some Bourbonnais be seen at the France championship this year, because it occurred in the birth place of the breed.

For the second year in a row, Bourbonnais have been seen in Monaco dog show. And this time, they were three; we hope to see more of them next year.

As a confirmation of her Fréjus CAC, Style du Puech del Mus, owner Daniel Negro wins the CAC/best of breed of Avignon dog show.

The Great Central Valley NAVHDA chapter has organized the 4th of March a Utility Preparatory Test in the Mendota Wildlife Area. Rufnit Fletcher (nicknamed on this day "Turbo dog") distinguish himself once again in a NAVHDA test by having the prixe III, with 145 from a maximum of 187.

Here is the largest single sex litter even seen in the braque du Bourbonnais : nine males and zero females were born on the 12th of December 2006 at Shari Stueck Rufnit Kennels, from Vurhi dou Coudounie and Rufnit Bali :

The Bourbonnais were prensent in Poland thanks to Hannele Tammivuori, finnish breeder who did the trip. Bravo for this involvment which will surely have made our breed known in this country.

Rufnit Fletcher, presented for the first time to the "Natural ability test" of the Grand Canyon of Arizona NAVHDA chapter, obtained at less than 8 month, the "Prize II". His master Claude Trincale, and his breeder, Shari Lee Stueck are very proud of him.

A big bravo to Romane Desoubrie and to his dog Replay du Pontelle de Maicou, who were competing in the Agility France championship of young drivers. In the first round, their 3rd place enabled them to stand on the podium and they finish 4th.

The new generation is coming, for dogs and handlers: in the Capbreton dog show, the 17th of September 2006, Amélie Levasseur Bassuel, 6 years old, has won the young handlers contest with his bitch Ubelle des Peuts Prés who got the CAC. We hope that Amélie will go on this way for the perenity of the breed.

On the 3rd September, the club "L'amicale des amateurs du chien d'arrêt" organised an initiation field trial.

We organized this Sunday 13th of august a little "Bourbonnais day" in Wallers, in the north of France. It was not obvious to organize because many Bourbonnais owners didn't want to come, the person who was supposed to lend us a 14 ha field having changed his mind....
