"The Insider" confirms that Christina Applegate will return to work next month on her ABC sitcom "Samantha Who?". The show will go back into production by mid-to-late September. On Tuesday Christina revealed that she underwent a double-mastectomy to treat her breast cancer. The courageous star declared she is now cancer-free.

There are only weeks left before Katie Holmes debuts on Broadway and "The Insider" has a sneak peek at the new poster for her play, "All My Sons." Dianne Wiest, Patrick Wilson and John Lithgow will be taking the stage alongside Katie in the Arthur Miller play. Previews begin on September 18, 2008 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theater in New York, and the play will open on October 16 and run through January 11, 2009.

The owner of a car involved in an accident with Shia LaBeouf has been issued a citation regarding the crash, the Associated Press reports.   Simon Herbert, 21, was issued a citation because his car failed to stop at a stop light. The AP is reporting that police are not sure whether Herbert was actually driving the car on July 27 at the time of the accident with LaBeouf.

The secret is out: Ricky Martin is the proud father of twin boys! "The children, delivered via gestational surrogacy, are healthy and already under Ricky's full-time care," his rep told the AP. "Ricky is elated to begin this new chapter in his life as a parent and will be spending the remainder of the year out of the public spotlight in order to spend time with his children." The Latin superstar kept the pregnancy under wraps until now! His rep said there was no further information about the details of the children's birth.
