Subject: Development Status Posted: Mon Oct 06, 2008 1:33 pm (GMT 0) Development is definitely on-going. There are a number of projects currently underway that involve expanding FeedForAll. I only have in-house timelines however, so I can not give you any planned release dates or any specifics about the future releases. HTH Author: Bartcelona
Subject: Will there be a new version or has development stopped? Posted: Mon Oct 06, 2008 8:20 am (GMT 0) It has been a while and I was curious if FeedForAll is still a project that is being developed for future releases. Could you inform us when or if we can expect a new version in the future? Author: Bartcelona
Subject: Re: duplicate content Posted: Mon Oct 06, 2008 8:14 am (GMT 0) I use Delicious feeds to add content from other sites to my sites. In short I try to make my users aware of what else is written on on other sites about particular topics, products or companies. I do this by using Delicious notes functionality (highlighting text, then using the TAG button from delicious which then creates the bookmark with the notes -text I highlighted from the source page-) this then gets turned into RSS that I then use on some sites. Are you telling me that I could get penalized for using (in effect promoting) the other site? If this is so wouldn't the Search engines themselves be the biggest violators of duplicate content as they have "content from other sites with their referring links? (especially sites like google news) In short I would love to hear some views on this from other experts that use RSS content on their sites. --PS what about news syndication organizations like AP (Associated Press) the make news articles verbatim available for other news sites / organizations Author: michaelalahue
Subject: How to remove old/repeated podcast episode Posted: Sun Oct 05, 2008 4:34 am (GMT 0) I posted the same item twice by accident and it looks like two different episodes posted at different times during the same day. How do I remove one of these "episodes"? Thanks for your help. Michael Author: wvpdles
Subject: It's not feedburner Posted: Sat Oct 04, 2008 8:28 pm (GMT 0) I was one of the 1st to notice this problem back at the end of Aug http://www.feedforall.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5570 . I'm using RSS2HTML for my own RSS feed, it has nothing to do with feedburner. My own feed is created by pulling a joke from a db, both the RSS2HTML script and the db are on the same server, there should be no blocking or restrictions. Another one that errors randomly is CNN news feed, meanwhile TVRage feed has never errored. Author: ralston
Subject: Image Size Too Large Error Message Posted: Sat Oct 04, 2008 3:51 pm (GMT 0) Hello, I have made a podcast for iTunes. I have an image, which is 300x300, according to Apple's recommendation (see statement below from Apple's web site). However, when I open FeedForAll, I always get an error message that the image is too large. I don't understand why I'm getting this error message, since 300x300 is acceptable to Apple. Would someone assist me, please? Thanks, Roy Why do I need cover art? Attractive and interesting cover art attracts new subscribers to your podcast. Podcasts must have good cover art to be featured on the Podcast main page or the Store main page. Most good podcast images include an image as well as a title, brand, or source name. A 300x300-pixel JPG is the recommended size and format. Author: forestwander

Subject: $errorCode = 76 Posted: Thu Oct 02, 2008 6:54 pm (GMT 0) i've been using rss2html for a couple yrs with wordpress (blog web app). today i changed the url to work with a feed from phorum.org (a forum web app) and this is the msg i get.
at line 23 pos 8, there's nothing. line 23 is
which totals 7 characters (there's a trailing space) yes, when i switch it back to wordpress feed it works. now i realize that the phorum feed is not your problem and all, but i know that they're going to tell me their feed is ok. i mean if it works with other feed apps, then sure i get that. I'm not necessarily worried about a fix. all i'd like to get is some troubleshooting tips to maybe figure out where to start. Author: nithyamagesh

Subject: re: Your response - Serial Number Request Posted: Wed Oct 01, 2008 8:26 am (GMT 0) I have sent the email with the serial number as requested. Thank you again for your help. BTW, any thoughts as how best to proceed using the mysql database to serve up feeds to be converted to full text on my website. If you have time for a step by step overview, I would really appreciate it. I am not sure how to set up the mysql database and how to have the feeds sent into it, much less how to get the feeds meshed into a single feed and ordered in such a way so as to display the output of the meshed feeds into one feed that displays all of the contents of each of the meshed feeds on my website. If begging helps, consider it so. I have been trying to accomplish this technical task for several months and have had no real results in getting technical help as to how to do it. To top it off I've had to regroup here after a computer meltdown. I guess we all have problems, but I really could use the help. Respectfully, _________________ Thanks, Jim Author: webmaster
Subject: Re: Username and Log in for free downloads Posted: Wed Oct 01, 2008 5:37 am (GMT 0)
First off simply send your serial number to orders (at) feedforall.com and we will send you a login for the scripts. Please be aware however the RSS2HTML templates are not free, and they are not included in the purchase of FeedForAll only the RSS Scripts are available free of charge to registered FeedForAll users. You can purchase access to the RSS2HTML templates for $ 29.95. HTH Author: worldsite
