On April 1 an incredible new home business opportunity will be launched- MyInternetBusiness.com.

The hype will certainly match the quality of this business.

Check back soon for links to my new blog!

Social Media for your Work at Home Business

1: Your main webpage or blog is central to this model. It must be simple, effective, concise, and contain honest and useful information about your home business.

2: Surf the net, make friends, and build an online community:

  • Profile sites (MySpace)
  • Blog Communities (Technorati, Blog Catalog)
  • Participate in forums and groups (Yahoo! Answers)
  • Research and write unique articles (business & personal interest)

3: Ensure you stay organized and efficient: Work at Home following the 7 Day Work Plan.

Home Business Success in 2008 : Web 2.0 Social Media + Work at Home

Social media, like YouTube, Facebook, MySpace, & Technorati, when combined in the right proportions to reflect user trends, can be incredibly effective in bringing in quality traffic to your webpage and blog. Learn Why Web 2.0? Because it works!

Incorporate these principles into building your online community, and watch the traffic flow:

· Advertise your main page/blog as BOTH a work at home business, and a resource center for free social media/traffic tools (check out my links: top right).

· Incorporate you and your interests into traffic generation. Although your main page is business, profile sites can include articles and links on personal interests like health, travel, home improvement, etc. Link everything together effectively, and readers will be sure to keep clicking through your unique and useful content.

· Maintain your sites position in Google and other search engines by following these Search Engine Optimization Guidelines.

· Actively participate – this is the ‘work.’ I find most aspects to be quite enjoyable: surf through personal profiles, learn about interests, and share that information with others by writing articles. This is perhaps the most challenging part, but can easily be tackled with support (from myself, article marketing groups, free submission software, etc.).

Social media is the future, and it is happening Now.

To improve your home business or social media page, I encourage using the resources included in this blog, my del.i.cious bookmarks, and the Pages at Team Passport.

~Cheers to your Success in 2008

P.s. Very shortly I will be releasing an ebook: step-by-step instructions how to build online community from the ground up. Written for beginners, this concise document features great tips & links, research, worksheets, advertising copy, blog skeletons, and more. Be sure to check back soon!

Think of it like a ‘Checklist for Your Success’

* You likely already have this necessity for success: internet access and basic computer skills (filling in forms online, e-mail, typing). I recommend spending about an hour a day working from home, although the more effort you can put into your business, the better.

* Motivation leads to success. Identify 3 reasons why you need to make this business work for you, and use this motivation to reach your goals. You must be a self-led individual, as this business puts you 100% in the driver’s seat. If you choose to put in the effort to make this business work, it will. The necessary tool to earn a steady and substantial income are all here.

* If you are a beginner at the online marketing game, you will need to spend time learning and asking questions wherever you need help. When you are comfortable implementing a technique (a.k.a. ‘the work’), move on to the next.

Successful network marketers are also great mentors, which for me translates into honesty, activity (in their online community), and willingness to offer support when asked.

* This is the big one: online businesses succeed by having one thing : people! Building an online community an easier and more possible than ever before, using social media.

All of the resources and knowledge is out there, what is lacking is a comprehensive step by guide describing exactly how this is done.

Very soon I will be releasing an ebook, including every piece of knowledge a complete beginner would need to create their own blog and online community, specifically for the Passport to Wealth home business. Check back soon!

The benefits of working at home are numerous

Waking up when you choose, wearing and purchasing what you want, spending time with your family, doing your hobbies - living an enjoyable & healthy and life. Grinding in the rat race is stressful, expensive, and is making us sick.

The choice is up to you: if you have the investment (time, money, energy) and the dedication & motivation to succeed, there is no reason you won’t.

If you have read through the material included in my blog, and feel confident you would be a good WAH candidate, let's talk! This business is fun, rewarding, and may be the smartest choice you have ever made.

Send me an e-mail, post a question in Team Passport, or request my phone number (via e-mail).

~Looking forward to hearing from you,
