This particular comic strip with a steampunk reference is especially funny. ![]() Related Posts: Fri, 04 Jul 2008 18:50:32 +0200 This one is slightly dated, but is still a goodie. Singer Janne Schra’s voice has been described as “a juicy green meadow, just after sunset, covered in fresh dew.” Fittingly enough, the official video for the song is as light and summery as the music itself. Back in 2006, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey sketched this conceptual, um, sketch of Twitter’s original UI on a notepad.

Twitter has grown and thrived beyond its creator’s original estimates, which, paradoxically, is proving not to be such a great thing for the service. ![]() Related Posts: Fri, 27 Jun 2008 20:43:47 +0200 I found this amazing collection of vintage Italian adult comic book covers on Flickr. Completely dark and somber in tone, the films in the series were written by some talented, award winning writers like Alan Burnett and Josh Olson (of A History of Violence fame). And as with the very brilliant Animatrix, the films were all created by top Japanese Anime artists and directors. The animated anthology is a rare specimen in the DC universe, as it’s to be released under a PG-13 rating in the U.S. and a 15 rating certificate in the United Kingdom on July 8. Watch a five minute clip from an episode in the series titled "Crossfire." ![]() Related Posts: Wed, 25 Jun 2008 20:57:44 +0200 This is spreading like an epidemic. Matt, a self-confessed “deadbeat from Connecticut”, shot the feel-good video in over 42 countries, with a cast running into the thousands.
