Hey car was broken into (smashed window) and stole work computer. Whose responsible? A. car insurance B. work has to replace C. I need to get another job and buy it again myself Help!!!!
Okay, so I recently submitted the post andquot; If my insurance company sold me a policy that I technically cannot have...andquot; So going back a little, the whole reason I found out that I couldn't have this policy is because they andquot;couldn't find my payment, andquot; I was really upset b/c without ins. I don't have a license. Called my agents' office to find a new company, he caught that I'm not allowed to have the policy. I called the company and told them I wanted my money back. Yada yada yada... So the day I found out I couldn't have this policy I called the ins. company and they confirmed that I shouldn't have it. When they had andquot;lostandquot; my payment, they had cancelled the policy, but said as soon as the payment was found, it would be reinstated. I told them they better not cash the check, nor reinstate the policy. Well guess what?....I just called the automated line and they DID reinstate it even after they confirmed that I'm not allowed to have the policy!!! I have to wait until the office opens to cuss them out, but I will definately keep those of you interested in this situation posted!!!!
Hi, Only one week after buying my NEW car. a car that run a RED light hit my new car. The guy confessed that it was his fault and the police took a report (including two witnesses). what should i expect from his insurance ? will i be able to get a new replacement for my car ? thnx for your advice !
My insurance company sold me a name non-owner policy because I do not own a car and have to have an sr22. They knew that I lived w/my boyfriend and that he has 3 cars at this address. Come to find out, I really am not allowed to have this policy for this reason. A name non-owner policy is meant for people that do not have regular access to a vehicle. Having 3 cars here, I obviously have access to 3 cars. I told my insurance company that I wanted to cancel the policy and expected to be reimbursed for the money I have paid them (minus the cost of the sr22 filing) seeing as if I would've gotten into an accident while driving one of those cars, my insurance wouldn't mean anything. They basically refused. I am wondering if I am able to sue them for at least the money that I paid and what type of lawyer would handle this type of case.
I have a double wide that use to just sit on piers. A few months ago I moved it onto a permenant basement foundation. I am trying to get my insurance comapny to insure it on a reg. homeowners policy which is alot cheaper than a mobile home policy. I was told they were going to check into it but most won't ualify for the other type of policy. I have had recent electrical and plumbing inspections when setting it up in this new location. Why would it not be viewed as a reg. policy if it is no longer andquot;mobileandquot;?
I was wondering whether Co-insurance comes after the deductible or is it includes the whole insurance claim..Say I have a deductible of 500$ and a 70/30 coinsurance policy .When does the coinsurance come into play? After I pay the 500$ deductible or for the whole sum of the insurance claim?
how do hsa accounts work?
Hi All, Why should an employer opt for a self insured plan? Can an employer with limited workforce apply for this kind of policy? Would it be beneficial for him? Denny
I live in california, iam insured with a company that I really dont know all the details of the policy. just basically full coverage. I totaled my car, and did not make a police report. wasnt even sure where the car was afterwords. This was about 2 months ago. I have given statements etc. and the company is andquot;investigatingandquot; it. In the mean while, Iam out a vehicle and my credit is being damaged because I cant afford to make the payment while I have no vehicle. How long do they have to investigate it? I had gap, if the company decides to deny the claim will gap do anything? Iam really frustrated because Ive told them everything and theyre still acting like theres suspicion. I mean what was the point in having insurance then? I didnt wreck the car on purpose! and have lost alot already. what can I do?? Someone please help. Thanks.
what actually is gap insurance ? is it insurance which covers the depreciation of my vehicle ? Is it mandatory ? what are the benefits of having it ?
