Another great book is this one from In the Attic. Thes patterns ar all for round looms, but they are easy to understand and see how quickly you can create hats, Christmas stockings and more.

Loom Knitting for Christmas. It is September already, the kids are back in school.Now it is time to start thinking about Christmas I started making some scarves for several people on my list. I used the
Knifty Knitter Round Loom Set With Hook & Bag
for a matching hat, used the spool knitter for the scarves and made some thin and some wider.
I used one strand of
Lion Brand® Fun Fur Yarn
and one strand of
Red Heart Classic Yarn
to make the scarf and hat. I love loom knitting, it is quick and the projects are beautiful. I will get some pictures up as soon as I can.

I am going to start on some loomed pumpkins and I want to try looming a ghost, The idea is in my head hopefully I can get my brain cells working to get it out on to the loom. I will keep you posted if it works. I keep looming away, here in PA.

I have been busy looming and crafting. It is hard to do too much with my back as it is. I don't get to shop much so I have been watching for reasonable craft supplies on the internet. Create for Less has a great sale going on this month,Christmas in July. Christmas for crafters is just around the corner.

Easter has brought some new projects. I have been making bunnies galore. I started out with a bunny with the Loom Class list on yahoo. My first bunny was white with purple trim. She is pretty cute if I do say so myself. She was so popular with my family that I have to make several more.They want to use them as decorations all year round. As soon as I finish them I will post pictures of my assorted bunnies. Still looming and loving it here in Pennsylvania.

What can we loom for the spring and summer. There are some very talented ladies that are coming up with new patterns every day. Anne Bipes has created a bunny pattern which is just outstanding. I was fortunate to attend her class at Loom Class on Yahoo. I will post pictures of my bunny in a couple days.

How Exciting! Two wonderful ladies, Isela Phelps and Denise Layman have started a new loom knitting e zine. Lots of innovative patterns from many of the talented ladies who are creating patterns to keep all us loomies happily looming away. These ladies are the creative greats of the looming world. You gotta check this our if you are looming already or just thinking of looming.

Joann's had 50% coupons so I bought the set . there were two sizes of the round and the square Knit Wit. There were 3 sizes of the Doodle Loom. It seemed to be a good buy. there were also a tassel maker and several booklets with projects.

Joann has Knifty Knitters on sale for National Craft Month.What a great idea to celebrate the rising popularity of loom knitting. The Knifty Knitters is a great loom to start with. There are several different sizes and they can get you off to a fast start loom knitting.

Isn't this great. Creative Knitting had a sweater pattern for either needle knitting or the loom. I have the back done and am working on the front. i will post some pictures as soon as I can.

I go the spool loom from Provocraft at Pat Catan's. I made a neat scarf with the wide end,I made three and braided them into one. I am happy with the effect. i want to make a hat and use braids from the small end to trim the hat.

I started a waffle afghan on the long looms,and I have more pegs so I am calculating how I have to count to maintain the pattern. I haven't decided what colors to do it in. Maybe Christmas colors and give it as a gift next year or use scraps to make a multicolored.

Look at my beautiful model wearing my checkerboard set in Pittsburgh Steeler colors,I did the whole set on the loom.

I started mittens last night and finished them tonight. They are done in a checkerboard pattern
on the blue kk. Now the whole set is done,hat,scarf,and mittens in black and yellow (Pgh colors)They are more challenging then the basic but I think they were worth the extra work.

know I keep saying that,but life has been a little hectic lately.

I have been blessed with a wonderful family,my brother,sister and niece bought me thirty seven skeins of yarn and most of them were those giant 16 oz skeins of Red Heart. I was in Crafter Heaven. I have been looming away until the wee hours of the morning.
I know I need to get pictures of my projects on here, somehow since I have been looming so much I haven't had any time to get pictures.
Imagine that.

Trying to loom all I can,I want to get some gifts done for Christmas. I just finished two scarves in black and goold ( Pittsburgh colors). One is loomed in yellow with black/gold stitch and black middle(I really do have to get pics on here.)
The otyher is heavier and it is crocheted. I finished them both in about 8 hours.
I love my Knifty Knitter.

Loom Knitting is just wonderful. Today I knitted in just two hours a lovely pink and grey hat.
{I will be posting pictures} If you haven't discovered this you will be amazed at how quickly you can knit a lovely item as a gift or something for yourself.

I discovered looming in Joann Fabrics a couple of months ago. I have become a looming addict. Right now I have the knifty knitter two sets of round ones,the purple loom and the set of oval ones. I have projects on four of them.
Next I want to move on to one of the finer boards,and do more projects.
