Any idea what one might cost - can you get one from a wrecking yard or would the monkeys there ruin it getting it out????
I've had my HTT SS 62\13 SS for over a year now and managed to put down 447.5\983.5 on the dyno. I'm hoping with the addition of my CFM plus manifold and Spearco intercooler I can crack 500\1100. This tubo has a very impressive whine to it compared to my S300. Even though the HTT is based on a S300 it sounds nothing like one. Initial spool up is a tad slower but then it really kicks in and spools up fast. The S300 would tend to spike to a high boost level quickly and then settle down some. The HTT turbo boost level just goes up and up when you pour on the fuel. At 30 plus pounds of boost can really hear this thing sucking in the air. If you quickly back off the fuel at high boost levels you hear a very audible whoosh sound but never any barking. $1760 is a lot of money for a turbo but it's worth it. This turbo really benefited from the CFM Plus intake with a noticeable drop in smoke.

Just wondering, if I install a leveling kit from Carli, Kore or Lorenz and put 35" tires on the stock 17" rims... is there still enough room to properly install and use snow chains if needed?

Gen. Petraeus backs Obama: 'You have to talk to enemies.' | Crooks and Liars (http://www.crooksandliars.com/john-amato/gen-petraeus-backs-obama-you-have-talk-) McCain has constantly mocked Obama by saying Barack's attitude of negotiating with our enemies is a clear indication of his lack of experience in foreign policy matters. McCain also cites Gen. Petraeus as often as he can as he tries to use his support of "the surge" to demonstrate his judgement. Well, Gen. Petraeus just destroyed his argument with his appearance at the Heritage Foundation. The Washington Independent » Petraeus Talk Bolsters Obama (http://washingtonindependent.com/11381/petraeus) Petraeus also came out unambiguously in his talk at Heritage for opening communications with America’s adversaries, a position McCain is attacking Obama for endorsing. Citing his Iraq experience, Petraeus said, “You have to talk to enemies.” He added that it was necessary to have a particular goal for discussion and to perform advance work to understand the motivations of his interlocutors. All that was the subject of one of the most contentious tussles between McCain and Obama in the first presidential debate, with Obama contending that his intent to negotiate with foreign adversaries without “precondition” did not mean that he would neglect diplomatic “preparation.” McCain, apparently perceiving an opportunity for attack, Tuesday again used Obama’s comments to attack his judgment. “Sen. Obama, without precondition, wants to sit down and negotiate with them, without preconditions,” McCain said, referring to Iran. Yet Petraeus emphasized throughout his lecture that reaching out to insurgent groups — some “with our blood on their hands,” he said — was necessary to the ultimate goal of turning them against irreconcilable enemies like Al Qaeda in Iraq. I wonder what McCain will say at the 3rd presidential Debate when Obama brings all this up. Will McCain say that Petraeus was just a little confused? I guess we should just ask Sean Hannity since he basically runs the messaging of McCain's campaign. Gen. Petraeus also wants to negotiate…. I for one am glad that he has tried to calm his supporters down and get back to business. His rallies were starting to resemble neo-nazi or KKK hate rallies. Maybe he realized this was not the way to run a campaign. Especially in the wake of all that's going on. But it may be too late as his credibility with independents may have been hurt beyond repair. Time will tell. Ken

Does anyone have a good source for Fleetguard fuel filters. I need to buy some FF5320 filters. They are the 2 micron spin on filter for GDP system. I bought some extras when I got the system with the Walbro pump and I just installed my last one. I checked Genos Garage but they don't show the filter I need.

Interesting read;) Obama and the New Party - HUMAN EVENTS (http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=26913) In 1995, the New Ground, the newsletter of the Chicago Chapter of Democratic Socialists of America, noted, “In Chicago, the New Party's biggest asset and biggest liability is ACORN. “Like most organizations, ACORN is a mixed bag. On one hand, in Chicago, ACORN is a group that attempts to organize some of the most depressed communities in the city. Chicago organizers for ACORN and organizers for SEIU Local 880 have been given modest monthly recruitment quotas for new New Party members. On the other hand, like most groups that depend on canvassing for fundraising, it's easy enough to find burned out and disgruntled former employees. And ACORN has not had the reputation for being interested in coalition politics -- until recently and, happily, not just within the New Party.” Naturally, Barack Obama was an active part of ACORN at the time, helping it legally in court and helping it organize voters. By 1996, ACORN and the New Party were essentially the same body. Along with the Democratic Socialists of America, the New Party endorsed Barack Obama in his State Senate bid. Obama began seeking the New Party endorsement in 1995. He had been running in a four way primary against his former boss, Senator Alice Palmer, herself a far left radical, and two other individuals. But an election law quirk gave Obama the upper hand. In order to get on the ballot, candidates had to collect signatures of voters. Printed names were not allowed. Obama challenged the petitions of his rivals and was able to get every one of them thrown off the ballot. By the time the ballot was drawn up for the 1996 election, Obama’s was the only name in the race. Nonetheless, Obama still coveted the New Party endorsement. The New Party required candidates who received the endorsement sign a pledge of support for the party. Obama did not need to support a party that was, in effect, a front group for communists; yet he still chose to. The July issue of the New Ground noted that 15% of the New Party consisted of Democratic Socialists of America members and a good number of Committee of Correspondence members. Barack Obama, not needing to, chose to affiliate himself with this band of quasi-communists. As the nation moves closer to the election, it is clear that Obama chose to affiliate with assorted anti-American radicals. Machiavelli once noted that we can know a leader by the people he surrounds himself with. What does that say about Barack Obama, who chose to surround himself with people committed to overthrowing the United States and capitalism? * ME:And one can only wonder where Obamamamam gets his left leaning socialist principles from?* Chicago Democratic Socialists of America (http://www.chicagodsa.org/)
