Thu, 28 Aug 2008 12:40:08 +0200 When you have just created new website, you will want to attract people to visit it. One of the most important tasks for any webmaster is to build up the number of links to the site from other websites. This can be done manually via reciprocal link exchange and directory submission, or by paying other people to do it for you. Link Vault and Receive Links are automated systems which place your links on other people's websites, in exchange for placing their links on your website. It is free to sign up, and all websites are categorised so that your links are placed on relevant sites. This is not the same as conventional link exchanges, because none of the links are reciprocal. Get links to your site, and increase PageRank, and get more traffic!

Fri, 29 Aug 2008 10:24:02 +0200 As a serious gamer myself, I love to see games before they hit our shores here in North America. But more than that, I am always looking for the hottest and most unique games I can get my hands on. Unfortunately, many of those games just don't come to our side of the ocean from Japan. Typically, since the days of the original Nintendo NES, Japanese gamers have enjoyed much more unique and often times much better games than their North American Counter Parts. I've been very fortunate to be able to play many of these Japanese games while I was living in Japan, but when I returned back home to Canada, I simply could not find many of the games that I had played with such pleasure while in Japan. So I searched and researched and found exactly what I needed to be able to just put those Japanese games into game console and really start playing again. What I found was a Mod Chip, for my Playstation console. And I've been using mod chips ever since then. Having most recently purchased and installed my Xbox 360 Mod Chip into my system - and I've got games from Japan on the way.

Fri, 29 Aug 2008 10:23:55 +0200 Dilbert is an American comic strip written and drawn by Scott Adams. Dilbert is known for its satirical humor about a white-collar, micromanaged office, featuring the engineer Dilbert as the title character. It originally revolved around the engineer Dilbert and his "pet" dog Dogbert in their home. Many plots revolved around Dilbert's engineer nature or his bizarre inventions. These alternate with plots based on Dogbert's megalomaniacal ambitions. Later, the location of most of the action moved to Dilbert's workplace at a large technology company, and the strip started to satirize technology workplace and company issues. Mon, 25 Aug 2008 11:56:51 +0200 The concept of personality type is about the natural habits of mind we develop as we grow. For example, some may have a preference for noticing concrete reality, others for noticing abstract concepts. Or one has a preference for the external world of people and action, another a leaning towards the inner world of ideas and contemplation. In every case, both will be true for us at different times, but we have an inclination towards one or the other when free to choose.
These natural preferences fall into patterns, and an understanding of these patterns can help us to make sense of ourselves, our relationships, our life choices.
One of the most widely used personality type systems describing these patterns is called Myers-Briggs, after the mother-daughter team that developed it. This system also has the most books available on the open market for those who want to explore it further.
See below for a list of books I've found really useful...

Tue, 26 Aug 2008 13:17:02 +0200 The flat screen TV has become the "must have" piece of electronic equipment that most people want to have in their homes. Who can blame them? The flat screen television has replaced the bulkier televisions of the past. They come in a variety of sizes and some can be mounted directly on your wall.

Tue, 26 Aug 2008 13:17:22 +0200 These days, High-Definition Video Cameras are dominating the market. They are relatively new and quickly catching on, giving you so much you can do with your camera. Unlike the past, cameras are now capable of capturing full videos as well, proving that they are indeed capable of capturing any memory you can possibly imagine.
HD video cameras also offer you 20X zoom lens or more, meaning that you can zoom in quite a distance on things that you want to capture up close and personal. For the most part, you can do things with these cameras that you may have never before thought possible.
When you capture a picture or video with high-definition cameras, you'll be very amazed at what you see. Just like HDTV, the pictures of the camera are very lifelike. If you have a newborn baby, a high definition video camera may be just what you need to capture each and every precious moment. For this reason and many more, you shouldn't hesitate to get a high-definition video camera - that is if you don't own one already.
If you've been looking for a high definition video camera, there are many out there for you to choose from. Here we will take a look at some of your options available in each of the different formats.
