Global properties are gone. Now each equation keeps its own copies of everything including packages and custom definitions, making for fewer surprises during editing and better portability between computers. Also in this release is a new toolbar button that lets you edit properties of several equations at once.

Just in time for Christmas, Ribbit can finally render equations in vector (as opposed to raster) form.  As a result, print quality is higher, files are smaller, complex backgrounds are preserved better, everything works faster, and the formulas look gorgeous with ClearType®.  Both Computer Modern and AMS Euler fonts are included, making the distribution a tad larger than before, but it is worth it.

For those unfamiliar with the Euler font (\usepackage{euler}), here is what it looks like:
