Movies.com presents the top user reviews for movies currently in theaters. Copyright: Copyright 2008 Movies.com Wed, 03 Dec 2008 00:00:00 +0100 While the book is always better than the movie, this was well done. My daughter who also read the book loved it and cannot wait for the next three movies. I hope they do as good a job with the rest of the books in the series.
Go for sure. You will not be disappointed.

Even though _Four Christmases_ did give up some of the goods ahead of time, it managed to do so while holding a little back and keeping the scenes hilarious. Jon Favreau is a fantastic (and huge!) foible to Vince Vaughn's leading man. They play well off each other and the effect is great. Reese Witherspoon keeps things moving, alternating between encouraging significant other and frazzled, panicked girlfriend who has a holiday epiphany. This is a date movie you won't mind sitting down for and just might avoid getting up in the middle.
Take a break from trampling store clerks while you shop, get a plate of stale chips, faux cheese product, and a pony keg of soda and go see _Four Christmases_!
