Apple iPod touch

The very first iPod had a video game, invented by Apple's co-founder Steve Wozniak, called Brick, hidden as an easter egg. Since then, original and classic titles, including Pac-Man and Tetris, have made their way onto various iPods as Click Wheel-controlled games. In 2007, Apple launched the iPod touch: a wireless pocket-sized computer, with a multi-touch screen and a built-in motion-sensing accelerometer. So far, Apple Inc. has sold over 20 million iPod touch units... Today, the 3rd generation Apple iPod touch (featuring the same hardware and Operating System as the new iPhone) was released with either 32GB or 64GB of flash memory. Apple's emphasis this generation is definitely on marketing the new iPod touch as a state-of-the-art, hand-held games console: making direct comparisons with the Sony PSP and Nintendo DS, and highlighting the massive amount of games now available...

X-Men Origins: Wolverine for PS3, XBOX 360 & Wii

Based on the blockbuster superhero movie X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which opens in cinemas today, X-Men Origins: Wolverine Uncaged the video game expands on the movie's key scenes and adds to the storyline. Uncaged's developers Raven have clearly researched the Wolverine comics, offering a much more brutal and bloody experience than the movie. Wolverine's ability to rapidly regenerate allows you to withstand violent attacks whilst slashing your opponents into pieces. This is not the usual child-friendly movie tie-in: expect to see severed arms, legs and heads flying through the air. Armed with adamantium claws and feral senses, you will find yourself taking on platoons of soldiers, ripping helicopters apart, fighting Sabretooth and Gambit, and encountering other enemies from the Marvel universe. X-Men Origins: Wolverine Uncaged is available now for PC, PlayStation 3 & XBOX 360. The Nintendo Wii, PS2, Sony PSP and Nintendo DS versions of the game have less graphic violence
