David Nihir
Mon, 31 Oct 2005 02:24:51 +0100 Hicksville, Ohio - We are receiving unconfirmed reports today that the company Toronto loves may be guilty of Accounting Ignorance under Section 3-14 of the Ontario Accounting People ACT(OAPA).
A source within the company saw David pacing around his office crunching numbers, while Nihir reportedly took the day off.
In a leaked document obtained exclusively by our News Bureau, it appears that despite their overwhelming success in the 4th quarter of 2005, David and Nihir reported GST (Federal Tax) owing of $0.00.
In a scandal more shocking than that of the Canadian Government, David and Nihir may have cheated the Federal Government out of less than $30. Think of all the politicians who could have stolen that money. Who will stand up for their rights today?
This story was on everyone's minds today. It's despicable. You never think it could happen in your own town, says Nihir Morzaria.
Morzaria was not the only notable figure to comment on this story. U.S. President George Bush was quoted as saying, David and Nihir are friends of mine. I don't believe they or anyone else in the igloos up there did anything wrong. Anyway, what the hell is GST?
A spokesperson for the President released a statement later in the day noting that the President was just joking and understood that Canadians don't live in Igloos.
As for what lies ahead for David and Nihir, the future is uncertain. Will the pair rise above the debacle and come to understand the importance of GST Remittance? For the good of the people, one certainly hopes so.

Wed, 17 Aug 2005 01:00:00 +0200 So we found out we had a meeting with a big company and we wanted to make a good impression.
Naturally, the first thing we decided to do was print up our business cards. Only we had to have them by the next day and we still haven't created a logo or figured out what we wanted on our business cards.
So, brilliant man that I am, I designed a temporary card and took the file to Kinko's at 3 in the morning to get 1 page printed for each of us which would ideally leave us with 12 business cards each.
At 3:50am, I left Kinkos with no business cards...

Mon, 15 Aug 2005 05:00:00 +0200 We did it. One day after opening up a joint bank account together, David and I are now officially part of the business community in Ontario. We registered our business and received these wonderful numbers from the government to give them taxes every year. I've dealt with the government many times for things like parking tickets to event planning and I've always been met with delays. Not this time. Now that we are going to be giving them money on a regular basis, we were set up within an hour.
Sat, 06 Aug 2005 01:00:00 +0200 Today we had our first sale. It's not big and it's not going to make us a lot of money, but it had to start somewhere and after only a couple weeks at this, it was a really big shot in the arm!
WE MADE OUR FIRST SALE!!
Sorry, it's just very exciting...
