'Location - the most obvious thing with location is that you'll need it to be somewhere near a road - however there's more to think about than that.' The location should be chosen to add some interest to the photo. ' This might be one where there are well lit buildings along the road, one where multiple roads merge together to create light trails in different directions, on the bend of a road so that the trails sweep through the image, near a roundabout so the trails create circular shapes, in the middle of dual carriageways.'

The Alternative Clothes Cleaner is a conceptual washing machine that doubles as a large seat designed by Harsha Vardhan R an industrial design graduate of class 2008 from IIT Delhi (India). This washing machine has two modes, active and passive, no detergent or water is needed; the inner chamber acts as a pressure washer and cleans the clothes with ionized air. Quite interesting.

Amilia is the first artificial grass camouflage building in Austria, designed by GRID Architects. Its organized in 2 levels, one of these opens up & lets the landscape float in and maximize the interchange between inside and outside, the house is completely covered with artificial grass -with only the windows left out. The holiday cabin 'Amalia' is named after the grandmother of her owners and offers space for up to six people, without having to spare any comfort.

A dream which took 14 years to manifest, for which the work began in May 2005, and finally it was on April 28, 2007 that the exhibit opened in Schagen, Holland and people had the first look of Noah's Ark Replica by Johan Huibers. Johan Huibers, a Ducth contractor by trade, built a replica of Noah's ark, using modern tools working from 8 to 5, six days a week, and most of the work was done by him, with occasional help from his son after school. The ark was built using American cedar and Norwegian pine, using the dimensions: 150 cubits long (225 feet), 30 cubits high (45 feet) and 20 cubits wide (30 feet) which is two-thirds the length of a football field and as high as a three-story house. People are amazed seeing the life size models of giraffes, elephants, lions, crocodiles, zebras, bison and other animals in the main hold.

Here are the images of what appeared in Potters Fields Park on Saturday, 'The Silver Thing' was guarded by agents. The object which 'landed' on the grass next to City Hall and was emitting smoke and a noise, got the attention of the passers-by. The men in the dark glasses who were guarding the site refused to explain to passers-by what was happening which got people more curious & they were taking photos of it. It was known later that the Potters Fields Park was been hired for a campaign to promote the launch of the Vauxhall Insignia car (sold under the Opel brand outside the UK). Now this is something new, creative & interesting way to promote a product which we haven't come across in the past.

Puppy, the dog flower sculpture by Jeff Koons is a permanent installation at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao. Jeff Koons' works incorporates imagery using painting, sculpture, and other forms, often in large scale. It was in the year 1992 he was commissioned to create a piece for an art exhibition in Arolsen, Germany and the result was Puppy, a forty-three foot (12.4 m) tall topiary sculpture of a West Highland White Terrier puppy created in a variety of flowers on a steel substructure. Again in 1995 the sculpture was put up at the Museum of Contemporary Art on Sydney Harbour on a new, more permanent, stainless steel armature with an internal irrigation system. And it was in the year 1997 the piece was purchased by the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation and installed on the terrace outside the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao in Spain. Made of stainless steel, wood (at Arolsen only), soil, geotextile fabric, internal irrigation system, and live flowering plants, its something waiting to be admired!

The sneakers with a zipper, when unzipped the sneaker transforms into slippers, quite an interesting idea. Perhaps this was whats needed in the shoe market which requires creativity to quite an extent. This is something which smartly fits in for travelling and into everybody's limited urban space. It was while packing for a trip, sneaker-biz experienced Stephen Yeung got an idea and it was the meeting with Matthias & Sebastian Thies from K&T which was the key-point to create a whole new range out of the idea. There were quite a few changes to optimize Nat -2 as what we see it today.

A farmer painted his flock of sheep a brilliant red which were let out on a hillside beside the M8 in West Lothian (Scotland). The red sheep were to entertain the motorists driving past & perhaps to "brighten things up". It took him a few hours for spray painting the woolly mammals using animal-friendly dye & which remained for a month until sheared.

City Lounge: stadtlounge (city lounge) situated in the centre of st.gallen in Switzerland by artist Pipilotti Rist and the Carlos Martinez architectural firm is the result of a design competition to create a 'public living room' in the financial district of the area. The Stadtlounge opened on November 3, 2005

A car vending machine: This one comes from Japan where there are plenty of interesting vending machines and here we have one holding a full-size Smart Car. It's not really a fully functional vending machine, the artificial vending machine has two choices (coupe and cabrio), and a convenient slot to insert the amount you need (about $20k). Push the button & it dispenses a tube containing pamphlets on the new models, supplier information, and a sheet of Smart Car stickers featuring the available colors.

Now who needs transporters!

These masterpieces are hand-made by modern egg master Franc Grom, who creates them using a small electric drill to create approximately 2,500 to 3,500 holes in each eggshell. His art is inspired by traditional Slovenian designs; he has been known to holes in an eggshell as many as 17,000 times. This artwork does require an incredible amount of steady hand and lots of patience and the effort has created these beautiful creations which can compete with Fabergé samples in their unique beauty.

This is swimming pool art installation in 21st Century Museum of Art of Kanazawa by artist Leandro Erlich which opened its doors in September 2004 as one of the three permanent installations. There are two clear acrylic glasses about a foot apart and water is filled inside. The top surface is also filled with about 4 to 5 inches of water so that it just looks like water. The people underneath the swimming pool can actually look above with realistic water effect on top of it.

Millions of starlings turns the skies black as they dip through the air for food at dawn and dusk by creating a spectacular formation. The best time to watch these starlings is before dusk, as they come home to roost; yet another beautiful sight is at the first light when the starlings leave their nest.




These extraordinary pictures were taken in Gretna Green, Scotland, shows more than a million birds wheeling and turning as one, billowing clouds of starlings are transformed into images of a penguin, cartoon characters, and a shoe.
