Morgan was surprised with the invitation by Opry member John Conlee while performing for troops in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. Morgan had been stationed at Ft. Bragg during his 10-years of active duty with the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne. Morgan’s top ten hits include “Almost Home,” “Redneck Yacht Club,” “That’s What I Love About Sunday,” and most recently “International Harvester.”

A Colbert Christmas will appear on Comedy Central on November 23 with Willie Nelson performing a duet with Steven Colbert called “The Little Dealer Boy”. The Christmas special will also have special guests John Legend, Jon Stewart, Elvis Costello, and more. A DVD of the special will be released on Nov. 25, with proceeds benefiting Feed America.
