Due to a magnitude of problems we have encountered with d old club site, we will be launching a new site for our club this August to coincide with the StuffedNurse Site/Blog first year anniversary.
According from an article by Veronica Uy at http://inquirer.net the most probable date of exam result release will be on the last week of July, as officially stated by BON Marco Antonio Sto. Tomas.
The article also warns the examinees, their family and friends, and the public to be wary of bogus information circulating in text msgs. Please only believe official statements from the PRC website and reliable news organizations and publications. click here: http://www.inquirer.net/specialfeatures/nursingmatters/view.php?db=1&article=20080715-148556 to view yhe whole article. The nurse, by its job description, takes care of everyone else. You follow the demands of the physicians and the patients. It’s an endless cycle of care. You chose the profession because it called to you to help other people. It’s a noble and self-fulfilling job. But what happens when you need some help yourself. It can be difficult for a nurse to seek help, so they oftentimes find ways to help themselves. The job can run you ragged so you need to take care of yourself. Here are a few tips for how to cope with the rigors of the profession: Return to nature. Being holed up in a hospital for interminable shift is an exhausting and draining experience. Take a walk during your break. When your shift is over and you have a day off take a ride into the country, away from the hustle and bustle of the hospital. Go to the beach for a day. Chances are your off day is in the middle of the week so the beaches are bound to be less crowded which can only aid your relaxation attempt. Develop a support group. Most of your friends and family won’t understand all the pressures you encounter in a given day. Form a group of fellow nurses that can meet somewhat regularly around your ridiculous schedules and vent to each other. A nice bottle of wine is sure to help as well. Tend to your children’s needs. When you come home from a shift it’s easy to plop down on the couch or, more likely, start cooking dinner and doing laundry. Before you do anything else, talk to your kids about their day and ask them questions. Don’t interrogate them; just let them know how important they are to you. Exercise. There can be no better way to relieve pressure and stress than to exercise. It’s a liberating feeling. Whatever your preferred activity is – running, biking, swimming, etc. – make sure you set aside time for yourself each day. This will recharge your batteries and get you prepared for your next shift and keep you in a frame of mind that is needed to run your family. Say no to overtime sometimes. Sure, you need the money and sometimes relish the overtime as backbreaking as it can be. Other times you probably feel bad for your fellow nurses that may be left short-staffed. This can’t be your concern; sometimes you need to do what is best for you and just finish your shift and go home! (^^,)eye_contact_poor@yahoo.com diannemaydeemandal@gmail.com guys, galingan nyo ha, dapat leveling to the highest! There is some concern that some of my answers in the reviewer i gave out does not reflect the
answers of other lecturers. You can always refer naman to the rationale and references i cited there, better yet, research it on your own. But still, ONLY THE BONs KNOW THE REAL CORRECT ANSWERS so useless na pag-awayin pa ang mga lecturer. magdownload kayo ng materials ko ha, lalo na ung mga from d provinces na hindi ko na mababalikan for FINAL COACHING. also, may i just repost with some editing what i said on this subject matter last year: diannemaydee : WORD WAR AMONG NURSE REVIEWERS A lot of those students i've handled has been really affected by what was termed as the nurse reviewers word war...ganito yan, we all know na super mega kumalat to the max ang NLE of june 2007 and december 2007 kaya naman lahat halos nakapagresearch ng answers.I know that there are times na researched items and questions can have different or conflicting answerrs depending on what book/website/CD you looked it up.I think that everybody will agree naman na there is no reviewer or person other than the BONs themselves who can claim that they have the 100 percent correct copy of the answer key.All we can try to do is to research..research..research! it doesn't mean na you are wrong and I am right nor that I am wrong and you are right, or that anybody else is wrong for that matter.Remember na there are times that although copied ang questions sa NCLEX or foreign CDs and books, there is still a possibility that the BONs adapted the answers to be based on the Philippine Nursing scenario. There are also times that our reference books have conflicting answers, and so, what we do is to try to find the exact or word for word reference from where the question was lifted from or based upon.It is for this reason why never na nagpublish ang BON ng answers nila and why review centers always says that their answers are suggested answers only..kahit na mega super to the max nila naaral and naresearch un.It is for this reason also why i don't want to publish my answers..ayoko sumali sana sa word war but still, i think na since my name has already been dragged into it, i would just like to state na I NEVER CLAIMED THAT MY ANSWERS ARE 100 PERCENT CORRECT... and also with my funda prof at Fatima, we have 2 conflicting answers sa NP1...hay..i could cite a whole lot more talaga noh. In the end, ONLY GOD, THE BON AND THE SCANTRON MACHINE KNOWS ALL THE CORRECT ANSWERS.We will never know!!! ha ha ha! (^^,)Matindi nun, there is a possibility that those items are bonus items pa pala db.Instead of doing kampihan and siraan, sana try to research na lang again or try to look at the options from the another party's perspective..sayang namn coz hindi pa dn mamatay -matay ang issue na ito. UN lang. grabe! lapit na exam!
and todo hectic talaga, just got home para maligo and get some clothes and FINAL COACHING na all over nanaman! dnt worry, i will post some helpful info here and some of my exclusive materials for my club members, also downloads for those na hndi q na mapupuntahan for final coaching.. the EB is 2loy 2mrw and we only have 3 hours to do it all coz out of town ulit kung saan saan punta for final coaching. kitakits na lang!ü Anne Margareth
