Seeking a part time assistant for the Executive Chef/Baker for a large production bakery.
Support development of new products for large scale manufacture, meticulous record keeping (weights, measures, pour weight, bake time, finished weight, glazes/garnish), repeat production of new ideas/concepts, and fine tune formulas, test and re-test many times over. Store and label product, enter data for successful scale up. This is neither a pastry chef nor production position, it is best suited for someone interested in product development and to learn exact replication of a recipe.
Applicant should have a minimum of 3 years production bakery experience, familiarity with scaling bakery ingredients and large mixing equipment. Good communication skills, and Spanish speaking highly recommended.
Jeanty at Jack’s restaurant in San Francisco is looking for a full-time host or hostess to work lunch service Monday through Friday. We will also consider hiring more than one part time person. The ideal candidate will be warm, gracious, articulate and comfortable serving a wide range of clientele. Exceptional grooming and somewhat conservative attire are required. These are not sales calls, but merely inquiries as to the availability of bartending positions. The job consists of using Internet search engines to find establishments with bars, calling them to inquire about their hiring status and then entering it into our job database. The days and hours are flexible but we do require a weekly update of your hours logged in. You must be able to use your phone and internet connection simultaneously for this position.
