Responsible for interfacing with designated instructional service staff, with transportation services, with parents and care providers, caseworkers and any other client-related individual.

2.Personnel responsibilities: directly supervises salaried personnel and oversees supervision of hourly staff; interviews and hires new employees; handles disciplinary actions and terminations; ensures that all staff are promptly and adequately trained to meet all requirements of regulatory agencies and that all personnel paperwork is in order; ensuring that all required paperwork is promptly done by staff and that staffing hours and weekly scheduling of staff is handled properly; ensuring that all safety equipment is updated and all safety drills are done promptly; facilitates clinical and staff meetings.

3.Financial responsibilities: Responsible for all financial accountability of Day and School programs’ funds and budgets.

El Camino Hospital has an opening for a Clinical Dietician for our Nutrition Services department. This role will function as a member of the professional health care team, identify patients with increased protein and/or energy needs or other medical/nutrition problems that may place them at nutrition risk. This position will also develop and implement nutrition care plans, including continued monitoring, assessment, nutritional support, discharge planning, and patient/family education of all patients with special nutritional needs/support. This candidate will also participate in performance improvement and special projects in assigned areas of responsibility. Must be available to provide weekend coverage.

QUALIFICATIONS
*Must be a Registered Dietitian credentialed by the Commission for Dietetic Registration.
*Computer proficiency required.
*CBORD diet office software experience preferred.
*Experience in acute healthcare facilities and nutrition support preferred.
