DOING TIME...AGAIN AND AGAIN

I can not tell you how many times I have felt this way. That I am "doing time." A Course in Miracles is one of the greatest gifts I know of, and yet sometimes I can not even read it, let alone apply its consistent lessons of forgiveness. The Course has the efficient ability to challenge us on many if not all levels and consistently offer us a way out of our perceived hell, but is not always the easiest guidance to accept. We want to learn how to live like Jesus and emulate those we believe help us, yet can easily be fooled by our ego's one desire to remain self-governing. I have this wonderful spiritual guidance at my finger tips almost all the time - A Course in Miracles in addition to the many other paths available - and yet I find there can still be much resistance. How can this be so?

”And if you find resistance strong and dedication weak, you are not ready. Do not fight yourself. “

Many have experienced this (resistance) with A Course in Miracles. This resistance, regardless of how long you've been practicing The Course, can still sometimes be very strong so it is important to study the beginning chapters of the Text. I have noticed that my interest in The Course sways as do my needs. Because of this I have found that some passages help sometimes and at other times they do not. I tend to "mix it up" a bit with my practice and will offer resources in each article which I have found conducive along the way.

If you are just beginning with The Course, reading the PREFACE will give you a thorough introduction and overview of how The Course came to be, what it is and what is says. Plus you can read ACIM related articles here on Spiritual Apostle starting with:

NAEBER'S INTRO
JULIE'S INTRO
and
ACIM TEXT:CHAPTER 1

Also, one of the books I have been reading off and on is called Absence from Felicity: The Story of Helen Schucman and Her Scribing of A Course in Miracles which helps one to begin to realize the scope of this intelligible document. I am forever appreciative for Helen's dedicated participation in bringing ACIM to the world.

There are also two companion pamphlets which came in the same manner, and are also included in the new 3rd Edition of A Course in Miracles:

SONG OF PRAYER

and

PSYCHOTHERAPY: PURPOSE, PROCESS, PRACTICE

Plus, I am really glad that Julie chose ‘making affirmations’ for her recent Concept for Spirit post (here). We will most likely need to use affirmations on a daily basis as we learn to live the teachings of A Course in Miracles. There are prayers, affirmations, reminders and more at every turn in our journey through The Course. The WORKBOOK is one of the tools which give us a daily affirmation to work with and the TEXT and MANUAL are natural companions. (These are all found in ACIM 3rd Edition). These reviews are a way for us to focus on a couple of the concepts from the Text, but you will want to read the Text yourself and study it so that you will have a strong foundation before moving further into The Course.

SERVING ETERNITY

Chapter 2 of ACIM is about SEPARATION and the ATONEMENT, two fundamental concepts of The Course. The Garden of Eden - or the PRE-SEPERATION condition - was a state of mind in which nothing was needed. When Adam listened to the "lies of the serpent," all he heard was untruth. Untruth can literally disappear in the twinkling of an eye because it is merely misperception. You do not have to continue to believe what is not true unless you choose to do so. What is seen in dreams seems to be very real. The Bible says that a deep sleep fell upon Adam, yet nowhere is there reference to his waking up.

"All fear is ultimately reducible to the basic misperception that you have the ability to usurp the power of God. Of course, you neither can nor have the ability to do this. Here is the real basis for your escape from fear.

The escape is brought about by your acceptance of the Atonement, which enables you to realize that your errors never really occurred. Only after the deep sleep fell upon Adam could he experience nightmares.

If a light is suddenly turned on while someone is dreaming a fearful dream, he may initially interpret the light itself as part of the dream and be afraid of it. However, when he awakens, the light is correctly perceived as the release from the dream, which is then no longer accorded reality.

This release does not depend on illusions. The knowledge that illuminates not only sets you free, but also shows you clearly that you are free."

Because we are given many helpful affirmations in this chapter which allow us to deepen our understanding of the Atonement we begin to see how simple The Course is and how loving it's Source.

Jesus shows us throughout The Course how to "deny the denial of truth." Since we have become very used to thinking in a linear fashion the concepts of Atonement and Forgiveness are illuminated steps on our path to awakening to Oneness.

"True denial is a powerful protective device. You can and should deny any belief that error can hurt you. This kind of denial is not a concealment but a correction. Your right mind depends on it."

(Error being misperception, which allows us to choose correction.)

"Denial of error is a strong defense of truth, but denial of truth results in mis-creation, the projections of the ego. In the service of the right mind the denial of error frees the mind, and re-establishes the freedom of the will. When the will is really free it cannot mis-create, because it recognizes only truth."

THE ALTAR OF GOD

The Atonement can only be accepted within you by releasing the inner light. Since the separation, defenses have been used almost entirely to defend against the Atonement, and thus maintain the separation....For perfect effectiveness the Atonement belongs at the center of the inner altar, where it undoes the separation and restores the wholeness of mind. Before the separation the mind was invulnerable to fear, because fear did not exist. Both the separation and the fear are mis-creations that must be undone for the restoration of the temple, and for the opening of the altar to receive the Atonement. This heals the separation by placing within you the one effective defense against all separation thoughts and making you perfectly invulnerable.

It is not always easy to practice but with consistent practice and dedicated study there is no limit to what can be gained from this transformational course. I am grateful to have this opportunity and hope we can continue to share The Course through the years! Thank YOU!

*!* PEACE NOW AND ALWAYS *!*

**PS**I also would like to mention THE FOUNDATION FOR A COURSE IN MIRACLES, a teaching center with two locations currently located in California that I hope to visit this year. Also I will be attending the ACIM CONFERENCE 2009 in San Francisco and would love to get together at that time if you are planning on going so email me if you are. Affirmations are words or phrases that you say to yourself over and over again to suggest an idea, in order to reprogram your mind to notice opportunities to make the suggestion become true.

My first experience with affirmations was when a family member gave me a book called Heal Your Body. I had been going through some tough times with my health and this book was very helpful in my understanding of the way that my body works, plus I have developed an understanding of how thoughts can heal. In this book are a list of health problems, the probable mental pattern that caused the problem, and the new thought pattern to say to yourself to heal from your ailment. What really blew me away as I looked up my particular health concerns was that the probable mental causes were right on the money! For example, I had a lot of problems with my bladder and kidneys after my divorce and when I looked up the probable mental cause for this ailment it said in this book “Anxiety. Holding on to old ideas. Fear of letting go. Being pissed off.” This made perfect sense to me! The new thought pattern to adapt and repeat to myself consistently was “I comfortably and easily release the old and welcome the new in my life. I am safe.”

Heal Your Body by Louise Hay is just one resource for affirmations, and I have put together a list of books with affirmations together for the end of this post.

There are an enormous amount of affirmations created by others that are available today and you will find that there are affirmations for different issues and topics of interest. For example you might run across success affirmations, affirmations for children, self-esteem affirmations, etc. (You can find a directory of affirmations here.) The whole idea behind making affirmations is in finding the words or phrases that apply to your situation and personal desires. Many people incorporate affirmations into their lifestyle because of health concerns, or because they desire to reach spiritual enlightenment. In any case, you must know that it is very important to work within your mind to create the reality that you desire whether it is to be more healthy or closer to enlightenment. We can be so busy thinking about what we don’t want in our life, or what we want to avoid each day that our inner self talk becomes negative and un-supportive. Take some time to really evaluate how it is that you talk to yourself, what words you use especially.

Are you supporting yourself through life and acknowledging your desires in a positive way?

Make changes so that you are! Eliminate negative words and replace them with positive words. If you really take the time to evaluate the words that you use, you might understand the subliminal messages that you are sending to yourself. Choose instead to use words that will help to create something good in your life or release something from your life in a positive way. Be wary of using negative words and focusing on what you don’t want. That will just attract more of what you don’t want into your life! Focus on the positives, and attracting what you do want in your life. Repeating positive affirmations to yourself reinforces the positive in YOU, and helps give you the confidence to reach towards opportunities to make your desires become true. This can help to lower stress, boost your self esteem, and open your mind to the possibilities. Making affirmations is something that we all do anyway, but if you make a conscious effort to incorporate positive affirmations into your daily lifestyle you will experience great benefits. Change your negative affirmations around and reinforce the positive in your life for best results!

You will find that there are many resources available online for those interested in learning more about making affirmations:

Affirmations from Hospicenet.org

Plus here are some books from Amazon with more information on affirmations in general:

Also you can watch videos on YouTube with affirmations like this one:

In any case, repetition is important when it comes to making affirmations so you should make arrangements to repeat them throughout the day.

Some people like to write their affirmations on a post it and put them in places they will see it often such as on the refrigerator, on their bathroom mirror, or on the edge of their computer screen. There is also software that you can download that will bring up the affirmations that you create at schedule time intervals that you pre-select. Also, a great blog to visit that posts affirmations daily is called The Think Positive Blog.

There is no order of difficulty in miracles... All expressions of love are maximal.

interests5acimrevealed

Welcome and thank you for visiting Spiritual Apostle where we will be looking at a Chapter from the Text of A Course in Miracles together.

The PREFACE is a helpful place to begin if you are new to A Course in Miracles, consider yourself a beginner, or even if you've been studying the course for 20 years. The Preface is a complete overview of "How It Came," "What It Is" and "What It Says" and both of the following websites offer services (many free ones!) to aid you in your practice online and in person:

FOUNDATION FOR A COURSE IN MIRACLES
FOUNDATION FOR INNER PEACE

This course is a beginning, not an end. Your Friend goes with you. You are not alone. No one who calls to Him can call in vain. Whatever troubles you, be certain that He has the answer, and will gladly give it to you, if you simply turn to Him and ask it of Him. He will not withhold all answers that you need for anything that seems to trouble you. He knows the way to solve all problems, and resolve all doubts. His certainty is yours. You need but ask it of Him, and it will be given you.

The only purpose of the course is to help us find our own Internal Teacher. It can be shared but is also meant to stand completely on its own.

Here is a very helpful book to consider reading if you have questions about how to practice the course:

THE MESSAGE OF A COURSE IN MIRACLES

There is a lot to take in here but I wanted to give you a bunch of resources to begin with so you can refer back to the beginning of these articles from time to time for a refresher if need be.

Chapter 1 begins with 50 Principles of Miracles.

In the context of the course these principles give us one of our first looks at what a miracle is and also hints as to what a miracle is not. There really are 50 of them (no joke! lol) so in order to move through the Chapter with ease I will be providing a link (the first one below) to a more in-depth look and powerful line by line analysis of each miracle principle individually:

The seventh miracle principle states that: " Miracles are everyone's right, but purification is necessary first."

Healing the mind is one way of describing the process we go through as we learn to undo false ideas about our world. The course meets us where we believe we are and helps guide us gently out of pain, uncertainty, and fear by teaching us the practical application of FORGIVENESS. If you are beginning with the course, and the message resonates with you, there is a good possibility that this will become a lifetime path for you? It has become a lifetime path for me personally and reflecting on the Text has become a helpful way for me to more consistently understand the process of healing. During the process there are times of "unsettling" in which our experiences with the course may range from discomfort to misery. At these times (usually the miserable ones) we may feel like giving up and so we should find ways to stay with the course if possible and offer us a fresh PERCEPTION of our purpose and goal.

It seems we all have our own way of studying and living the course.

If you'd like to share a particular way you have found to be meaningful please be sure to join our Yahoo! Discussion Group where you can connect with other Spiritual Apostle readers. Because there are nearly limitless options for how to go about studying A Course in Miracles it is important to remember the significance of application. A key part in this process is "bringing the darkness to the light" which you will become more familiar with as you practice and we go through the Text with one another. Course study groups are normally a great way to meet those in your area (and/or the web) who will most likely be experiencing the same things and who can greatly accelerate our understanding of healing! Also the Workbook for Students is what allows us to apply the lessons to our daily lives. You may begin the lessons at any time and there are many resources available to fit your life-style.

NOTE: The articles posted here on Spiritual Apostle are not meant to substitute the study and application of The Course but should offer some supportive ideas and help us stay connected. I'd like to stay in touch and hope you will find many friends and points of interest (like I have) in Awakening to Truth! There is an abundance of like-minded souls who enjoy sharing the course and who gracefully offer support while integrating these teachings into our lives. And remember, all of those who do not follow The Course are equally important to our journey of inclusion!

AND NOW HERE ARE SOME GLINTS OF WISDOM FROM CHAPTER 1:

~This is a course in mind training. All learning involves attention and study at some level. Some of the later parts of the course rest too heavily on these earlier sections not to require their careful study.

I began reading and applying the course about 4 years ago when I read the Text from beginning to end. This was also around the same time our twin-infant sons decided to sleep through the night (well almost through the night) Thankfully now all of our children sleep til 6am (usually) and so I've decided that returning to the beginning of the Text again for a closer look would be a good way to refresh my memory and also help to reinforce what the course refers to as right-mindedness. Can you tell I am not a morning person! (There is just something about "waking up" that I am resistant towards!) I try to listen to Workshops from the Foundation for A Course in Miracles, read different course related teachings when possible connect through Meetup: ACIM in the 505 Meetup.

~You will also need the earlier sections for preparation. Without this, you may become much too fearful of what is to come to make constructive use of it. However, as you study these earlier sections, you will begin to see some of the implications that will be amplified later on.

A Course in Miracles teaches us the meaning of the miracle by helping us return to a state of mind that is beyond description but that can be experienced through practicing forgiveness.

~The miracle is a learning device that lessens the need for time. It establishes an out-of-pattern time interal not under the usual laws of time. In this sense it is timeless.

~The forgiven are the means of the Atonement. You have a role in the Atonement which I will dictate to you. Ask me which miracles you should perform. This spares you needless effrot, because you will be acting under direct communication..."No man cometh unto the Father but by me" does not mean that I am in any way separate or different from you except in time, and time does not really exist. The statement is more meaningful in terms of a vertical rather than a horizontal axis.

~The impersonal nature of the miracle is an essential ingredient, because it enables me to direct its application, and under my guidance miracles lead to the highly personal experience of revelation. A guide does not control but he does direct, leaving it up to you to follow. "Lead us not into temptation" means "Recognize your errors and choose to abandon them by following my guidance.

Throughout the course we are given the consistent message that we bring our illusions to Truth. That we bring the darkness to the light (of the Holy Spirit or Jesus). It is a process... process.... process! And one we need not suffer tremendously through and over and around! We don't have to understand everything immediately and most likely will experience a "re-turning" or rhythmically speaking a "fine-tuning."

*!* The key to A Course in Miracles is that we practice forgiveness. This means we try as much as possible to not exclude ourselves from the process which may seem painful at times.

~The escape from darkness involves two stages: First, the recognition that darkness cannot hide. This step usually entails fear. Second, the recognition that there is nothing you want to hide even if you could. This step brings escape from fear. When you have become willing to hide nothing, you will not only be willing to enter into communion but will also understand peace and joy.

This can be challenging because it is not always easy to tell the difference between "the light" and "darkness." If we keep in mind that Jesus and the Holy Spirit (the memory of God) symbolize the part of our mind that is yearning for us to return to It's Source, and if by looking with Jesus at the darkness all illusions will be gently shined away, we cannot help but have a sense of hope even if for an instant that all is well or not far from being so?

~The miracle dissolves error because the Holy Spirit identifies error as false or unreal. This is the same as saying that by perceiving light, darkness automatically disappears.

The beauty is that with practice this one instant of hope begins to "stretch out" like a good morning stretch maybe... and encompasses everything, even areas of our lives that we believed would forever be enshrouded in darkness.

~I inspire all miracles, which are really intercessions. They intercede for your holiness and make your perceptions holy By placing you beyond the physical laws they raise you into the sphere of celestial order. in this order you are perfect.

Meditation is an exercise for your mind that you do by sitting in silence. You can read more about the science of meditation at Wikipedia here, where you’ll find that there are many different forms of meditation, and that prayer is also a form of meditation. The overall goal in meditating is to silently concentrate and quiet your thoughts for you to ‘just be’. Meditation has been shown to have healing properties, is excellent for stress relief and emotional release, and is one of the most important spiritual practices that you can adopt into your life.

Here is an awesome 10 minute video that can explain meditation and it’s importance a lot better than I can: (*wink)

You can learn more about the different forms of mediation at About.com’s Meditation Exercises and Resources Page. Plus there are many articles on how to meditate and meditation at eHow.com. You can even get together with others in your local area who are interested in meditating at MeetUp.com. There are also plenty of videos on the internet with examples of how to meditate such as the ones found at YouTube here.

In Deepak Chopra’s book 'The Book of Secrets’ Chopra says to meditate in the early hours to “meet the day before it begins”.

To meet the day before it begins means that you are present when it is born. You open yourself to a possibility. Because there are not yet any events, the infant day is open, fresh, and new. It could turn into anything. The meditating monks and the people at prayer want to add their influence of consciousness at that critical moment, like being present for the beginning of a baby’s life.

There is also a book by Dr. Maoshing Ni that recommends that you "Meditate Not Medicate".

Dr. Ni recommends two forms of meditation:

-Five Clouds Meditation. "This method involves visualizing colors associated with each of the five organ systems that keep us alive. Start by imagining a gathering of a cloud of the corresponding color enveloping the organ, in the order given. Green for the liver, red for the heart, yellow for the spleen, white for the lungs, and blue for the kidneys. Once you have completed all five color clouds, expand them all so that the five colors intermix and ultimately become a rainbow."

and

-Awareness Meditation. "This awareness meditation is powerful and can be done anywhere and anytime. For one minute, close your eyes and be attentive to your breath. Is your breath fast or slow, shallow or deep, short or long? Can you feel your lungs and abdomen expand and contract as you breathe? Next for one minute expand that awareness to your entire body. Is there discomfort or pain anywhere? Can you feel your digestion working? Is their movement within your abdomen? How are you sitting or lying? Can you feel the flow of energy and blood throughout your body? Finally, for one minute, expand that awareness t your outside environment. Experience the lighting conditions, temperature, subtle sounds, odor, and people nearby. What is your reaction to them? Record your observations in a notebook and review regularly for any subtle changes that may require attention."

You can also find “Meditations for Personal and Planetary Healing” in the book by Louise Hay called ‘The Power is Within’.

The meditations you will find in this book are called:

-Touching Your Inner Child
-A Healthy World
-Your Healing Light
-Receiving Prosperity
-Welcome The Child
-Love is Healing
-We Are Free to Be Ourselves
-Sharing Healing Energy
-A Circle of Love
-You Deserve Love
-A New Decade
-Spirit Am I
-A World That is Safe
-Loving All The Parts of Ourselves
-Feel Your Power
and
-The Light Has Come

- Hidden Meanings: Kundalini Meditation

You will find that there is a whole sub-culture devoted to meditation, and I am endorsing that the idea of meditation is something that should be more main stream.

As time progresses there are more tools and resources than ever to help you on your spiritual path and with meditation in general. There are plenty of independent theories and books on the practice of meditation and the science behind it; plus you can find many audio visual resources as well.

Here is a list of items that I found on Amazon that are related to meditating and meditation in general:

As always, you can discuss your experiences with this spiritual concept at the Spiritual Apostle Yahoo! Group as well.

The benefits of meditation are immense, and this is a practice that I thoroughly believe everyone should become familiar with. We should introduce meditation to the older, middle, and younger generations alike. Everyone can participate in this exercise, on their own terms, with their own style, in the form that they choose. The resources are available for us all to advance our meditation skills and I urge you to invest attention into this concept. Meditation can help to create a more comfortable reality for the whole, and bring each of us as individuals a lot closer to True Reality.

I hope that you enjoyed this post, and I thank you for reading as well. Take care and see you next time. Sincerely, ~Julie Phineas~

“Use time solely as a means to regain eternity.”

–A Course in Miracles

I was introduced to A Course in Miracles in a book I was reading in my early 20's called The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. There is only one quote in The Power of Now from A Course in Miracles but it is so brilliantly put (in my opinion) that after 5 more years of meticulous seeking I found myself picking up my own copy of one of these "heavy" blue books! Here is the now well known and frequently used quote that attracted me to A Course in Miracles.

Nothing real can be threatened.
Nothing unreal exists.

Herein lies the peace of God.

In my experience the statement Nothing real can be threatened is very comforting, but when contemplating Nothing unreal exists sometimes my mind begins to scramble! And then it is returned again to comfort with the words, the peace of God.

The way I think of God is changing significantly as I study and practice A Course in Miracles. I was raised with a thought system that had many inconsistencies (I won't name any names) and so eventually I began to break away from the "norm" because I felt like there was something REAL missing in my life. In Reality nothing is ever really missing but in our day to day life this may not be our experience.

The course helps us understand that there are two thought systems that we are always choosing between. One is a thought system that is closed off to Reality and the other is one that is completely open to Reality and at the same time is aware of any need for healing/correction. To take this even further the course explains that only one of these thought systems is real.

A sense of separation from God is the only lack you really need correct. -A Course in Miracles

In the beginning I felt alone and so I did not know who to trust or which resources to use to best guide me through this confusing time. We can easily become conditioned to depend on the world (of change) to guide us through life and so we forget, without a reliable source, that we have a choice in the way we see the world. And because the world's thought system is subject to change without much notice we usually end up feeling like we are being left out in the cold, abandoned, betrayed etc. or we have a sense that something is not right but we do not know where to begin to "fix" it.

As most if not all of us realize the world can be a very unreliable and unhappy place. At these times we have reached a point where we are crying out that there must be a better way and we are not alone in feeling this way! Nineteenth Century author Henry David Thoreau best described this feeling in this statement from his book Walden:

"The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation"

Freedom is creation because it is love. -A Course in Miracles

A Course in Miracles is simply that, A Course, one of countless ways for us to return to our true nature. The course is an Answer for many of us who have been looking for meaning but often feel that we are going in circles. It is a self-study work that can also be shared and eventually lived every moment of one's life. I have chosen A Course in Miracles as a life-long path because its message is simple and yet has the ability to transform everything I thought I understood.

Its unique style is not for everyone so you may want to visit the following websites to get a more in-depth introduction. The Foundation for A Course in Miracles and The Foundation for Inner Peace

THANK YOU for reading this and if this resonates with you please return as I will be sharing insight from the Text of A Course in Miracles every other Tuesday. I first read the Text in 2004, I’ve been studying and practicing the course for about four years and have begun the Workbook for Students this year. I have a couple of groups where I post the lesson for the day so if you began the lessons between January 1st and 14th and would like to keep in touch with the group you may email me for more information or by visiting my Profile on MySpace

*!* I want to gracefully thank Julie for inviting me to contribute to Spiritual Apostle and for being a trusted friend who has been by my side through some of the most difficult times in my life.

PhotobucketLucid dreaming is quite an interesting subject.

If you don’t know what a lucid dream is, you will find that it is a dream in which you are aware that you are dreaming. You can read more here. The interesting part is that in a lucid dream, since you are aware that you are dreaming, you can tap into that awareness to take control over your dream. This is at the very least a fun exercise to try. More importantly however, lucid dreaming can help to put you into a position of control over what dream situations you expose your subconscious too. Suggesting to yourself certain ideas while lucid dreaming can have real affects in your awake like. If you read my post on Quantum Reality you will know that “life is but a dream”. If we can learn to be more aware in our sleep dreams, we can program our mind to be more aware during The Dream of Life. Awareness in life is a big asset to have – it can help lead us to Truth and subsequently to True Reality.

You can visit WikiHow to learn How to Lucid Dream, but you’ll find that you can start preparing yourself while awake by performing “reality checks”.

You’ll find that you may have had brief moments of lucidity – or awareness that you are dreaming. If you have, you will know that a lucid moment is a simple moment of awareness. It is you telling yourself “I MUST be dreaming!” and you will be right. THAT is a lucid moment. Holding onto a lucid moment takes practice, and you will see that as you practice more you will be lucid longer. To prepare yourself for becoming lucid during a sleep dream, you will need to program your mind to ‘check for signs of reality’. Program your mind to do ‘reality checks’ while you are awake and it will become a behavior that is normal for you to do in a sleep dream. You will catch yourself doing these things unconsciously in a sleep dream, but with an unrealistic result that tells you “I MUST be dreaming if that just happened!” (*LOL)

For example, a friend of mine does reality checks like this:

During the day every hour or so look at your hands and pull one of your fingers. Be aware that as you pull your finger nothing out of the ordinary happens. Repeat this over and over in the day to where it becomes a habit for you to check if you are dreaming or not by pulling your finger. You will find that when you are in a sleep dream, you will do a reality check, and because it’s not reality you will have different results that tells you are dreaming. For example, you could pull your finger and it stretches like bubble gum - then you KNOW you are dreaming! (*wink) At that moment you will be aware that you are dreaming, and when you are dreaming anything is possible!

Say you are having a dream that someone is following you.

You are trying to lose the person by turning down different streets, walking through public parks, even swimming through lakes at your neighbors house. Hold on a second, reality check. There aren’t any lakes at your neighbors house you must be dreaming! You realize that there is nothing to be scared of it’s because it’s just a dream. Now that you realize this, you can turn and face the person following you to make a new friend, fly away to a far away land, or watch as a giant bird swoops down to grab your follower and save the day. It’s your choice!

You can use your dreams to problem solve, role play, evaluate situations or people, or just have fun!

There is even a website called The Lucid Crossroads that invites you to visit them in your dreams and connect with other Lucid Dreamers. It’s an interesting concept and I really enjoyed reading and learning more about The Lucid Crossroads. Even though I have had a few lucid dream experiences, I have not yet made it there. When I have had lucid experiences, however, I have noticed that they make a deep and lasting impression on me. When you do find yourself in a dream, you are literally IN a dream! It’s a weird sensation, and I can only equate it to “awareness”, because you are experiencing a certain situation yet you are very aware that you are dreaming.

There are many tools designed to help you achieve lucid moments while you dream.

Most of them aim at introducing outside stimuli during your dreams, such as lights flashing on your eyes, sounds ringing in your ears, vibrating tools etc. The idea is that you will become aware of the sensation much like a reality check and realize that you are dreaming. For example, wearing goggles with flashing lights will show in your dream as brake lights on a car flashing over and over, an alarm clock flashing the time on and off, or a clown flashing his moonbeam in your eyes. If you are a veteran lucid dreamer, you might be aware that you are dreaming when you see the car lights. Most people will need to experience something out of the ordinary such as a clown with a moonbeam to realize they are dreaming. In any case, there are many tools available to help you achieve your lucid dreaming goals. You can find a complete Lucid Dreaming Kit here and a tool for use with your mobile phone here.

The most important tool you can use will be a dream journal so that you can keep track of your dreams and lucid progress.

Discover patterns, re-occuring themes, or re-appearing characters within your dreams to help you work thru them even better. You can read more about Lucid Dreaming in the press here and at NY Times. Plus you can visit the following websites for more information on how to lucid dream and more about lucid dreaming in general:

Lucid dreaming can be a fun experience, but the overall intention of this post is for you to understand the tool you have with lucid dreaming.

I truly believe that learning this skill will empower you to move forward with your spirituality goals with new perspective, and help you achieve things you never thought that you could - while dreaming and awake! Lucid dreaming is therapeutic, but it’s also invigorating… I say you should give it a try.

Star in front of my window

I know I’m not alone when I say that life can get tough sometimes.

For me, an extremely low point in my life came for me when I divorced my children’s father. I was very disappointed in myself for not being able to make my marriage work, and for not keeping my children’s father with them. All in all, I know I made the right decision, but I still took it pretty hard emotionally. I felt like something was wrong with me and was feeling very disillusioned. I didn’t put two and two together at the time, but I also started to get really sick at that time too. I was constantly at the doctor’s office, on medications, in bed, unable to enjoy my children and my life. It was at this time that I was also coming to terms with being gay, and coming out to the world. Times were tough that year, but I also made some big changes in how I perceived myself and in what I wanted for my life. I remember sitting down with my sister one day, discussing the nature of life and saying “I want to know the truth! How can I find out the truth?” She mentioned quantum physics and I vowed to look down that path.

I found myself at the bookstore sorting through the books in the quantum physics section.

Lots of books caught my eye, but I was on a budget. I was about to leave when one book caught my eye, and I read its back cover. It was The Disappearance of the Universe: Straight Talk About Illusions, Past Lives, Religion, Sex, Politics, and the Miracles of Forgiveness This sounded like what I was looking for but didn’t seem to belong in quantum physics. Well I bought it anyway and I am glad that I did because it changed my life! Be careful what you wish for because I asked for the truth and I got it! From the second I started reading The Disappearance of The Universe I couldn’t put it down. When the book got down to the truth of the nature of existence, I cried - because the truth is undeniable. The truth has been in front of us the whole time and we just don’t see it like that.

Here is the basic message of the book as found on Wikipedia:

…categoric forgiveness is the key to ontological understanding and escape of a birth-death-reincarnation cycle. …the world is fundamentally an illusion of human ego outside, as it were, of an unbroken perfect spiritual reality in unity with God. Rather than stressing understanding as such as the tool to return or putting off of the illusion, however, this book stresses forgiveness itself as the critical linchpin, based on the idea that all human identities are really one, divided only by a belief in separation, and that all sin and wrong is an outward projection of a subconscious inward guilt at having "left" perfection in sin against God. To forgive others from this basis is therefore actually to forgive oneself, undo the ego and its seeming separation, achieve atonement, and put off an unreal universe. Unlike some similar teachings, it argues all individuated human identity is also illusory.

Gary Renard has since published another book, Your Immortal Reality: How to Break the Cycle of Birth and Death, which is an expansion of what readers call ‘The Disappearance’ or DOU. The basic premise for Gary Renard’s books is another book called A Course in Miracles. Many followers of A Course in Miracles consider The Disappearance of The Universe to be an introduction to ACIM and after reading about A Course in Miracles from Gary Renard, I went back to the bookstore and bought it.

Here is what I learned by reading the Preface:

A Course in Miracles was created by Helen Schucman and William Thetford, Professors of Medical Psychology at Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. Aside from their professional ties, these were two average, everyday American people who “had considerable investment in the values of the world.” For unknown reasons, William became tired of the “angry and aggressive attitudes” they were reflecting and concluded that “their must be another way.”Helen and Bill joined forces and around three months later Helen began to receive what she refers to as “inner dictation”. She began recording what she called ‘The Voice’ in her shorthand notebook at Bills’ suggestion. Working united, Helen would read her notes aloud and Bill would type them. The whole process took about 7 years. (You can read more about her journey in the book Absence from Felicity : The Story of Helen Schucman and Her Scribing of A Course in Miracles) The Course is a teaching device consisting of a text, workbook, and manual for teachers. ACIM is a self study course, and the way you study it is up to you. The Course emphasizes application and experience, and the reader is "left in the hands of his or her own internal teacher".

The course makes a fundamental distinction between the reality of knowledge and the unreality of perception.

The Course maintains that knowledge is truth and truth is unalterable. Perception is alterable, fragmented, and is based on interpretation rather than facts. The Course states, “from knowledge and perception respectively two distinct thought systems arise which are opposite in every respect. “ One thought system believes in opposites and perpetual conflict with each other and with God. This thought system leads to an experience of a world of illusions. When caught in the thought system of perception you are caught in a dream. You need help to escape the dream and wake to the reality of the thought system of knowledge. This is because everything your senses show you is a witness of the dream, and believes it is real. (For more on True Reality, visit the Spiritual Apostle Blog post “Quantum Reality”) The only way out of the dream is the function of The Voice of Knowledge, which mediates between the two worlds.

ACIM states that The Voice that this task is given to is The Holy Spirit.

“It is the Holy Spirits goal to help us escape from the dream world by teaching us how to reverse our thinking and to unlearn our mistakes. Forgiveness is the Holy Spirits great learning aid in bringing this reversal about.”

Forgiveness is the main focus of ACIM, and The Course has its own definition of what forgiveness really is, just as it defines the world in its own way.

“Through forgiveness the thinking of the world is reversed. Holding no one prisoner to guilt we become free; forgetting all our misperceptions and with nothing from the past to hold us back we can remember God. “

Gary Renard does an excellent job of introducing ACIM to the world in his book ‘The Disappearance of The Universe’, plus expanding on what forgiveness truly means in his book “Your Immortal Reality’. In September of 2007 I was able to attend the Gary Renard Workshop here in Southern California. Gary has an excellent grasp of the principles of A Course in Miracles and I wanted to share my notes from the workshop with you, so that you will have even better insight into The Course and what it really means.

Here are the key ideas I noted from Gary Renard’s workshop, in order:

-The Holy Spirit is in charge.

-Don’t worry about what to say or do.

-Don’t be so serious; Jesus was not morose.

-Seek to reach an experience not words or symbols.

-Seek an experience of reality, of ‘who’ you really are ‘where’ you really are.

-Seek an experience of happiness or satisfaction.

-The ego asks questions that the course can’t answer; there is no answer only an experience.

-Don’t let theology delay you. The experience is the answer.

-A universal theology is impossible; A universal experience is necessary.

-What facilitates this experience is a certain kind of forgiveness.

-Its not about what it means, it’s about taking your understanding and using it to apply forgiveness.

-The wrong kind of forgiveness holds certain ideas in place.

-Right or true forgiveness has you knowing that this is a false experience, that it’s not true.

-The world is a projection – an optical delusion of consciousness.

-With True Forgiveness, you are not denying your experience. You just know that the world is not done TO you its done BY you.

-You are forgiving others not because they’ve done something, but because they haven’t done anything.

-Shift to the reality of spirit.

-Be the cause not the effect.

-Anger is never justified, practice forgiving.

-Heaven=awareness of perfect oneness.

-This life appears to happen.

-Truth is not ever in the dream but can be heard in the dream.

-The content of the dream is unimportant. Just wake up.

-Listen to the right voice to change the atmosphere of the dream.

-Safety and home is there. It’s just out of your awareness - you’re scaring yourself!

-There's nothing to be afraid of. You were wrong. You are doing this to yourself.

-God doesn’t share your ideas of illusion; perfect love only loves.

-Salvation is undoing, forgiveness undoes. UNDO the ego

-Remove the blocks to the awareness of god’s presence. Do this with forgiveness, true prayer, or ask the Holy Spirit for help and put Him in charge.

-Stay connected to your source. The Holy Spirit will guide you to what is best for everyone.

-Take responsibility for your life and change your unconscious mind.

-A successful relationship= a holy relationship where either you have forgiven or are forgiving the other person.

-It doesn’t matter what people think.

-Jesus understood the nature of your subconscious mind that it is one ego appearing as many and that True Reality is God.

-The unconscious mind knows everything, including that we are all ONE.

-If you are judging or condemning others, you are really judging and condemning yourself.

-You are sending message from me to me about me.

-What goes around comes around because it comes from within.

-As you see others you will see yourself.

-Innocence is not a partial attribute; Jesus says wisdom is seeing innocence everywhere.

-Without forgiveness metaphysics is useless.

-Right minded leads to one minded automatically.

-Adhere to a thought system of forgiveness.

-Separation ideas create a difference in experience.

-There are two ways of looking at separation ideas, you can listen to the Ego or you can listen to the Holy Spirit.

-Ideas leave not their source. Seek to change your mind about the world.

-Use the mind to choose between body and spirit.

-Think beyond what appears to be a body and recognize perfect spirit – flawless, perfect, whole, and unchanging. Truth is holographic.

-The mind judges automatically; retrain it to forgive automatically.

-You cannot analyze the dark to find the light; if they are spirit you are spirit.

-True Forgiveness thought system “You are spirit whole and innocent, all is forgiven and released.”

-Two types of forgiveness – forgive yourself and forgive others.

-See others as invulnerable.

-He who would not forgive judges. It takes more time to judge than to forgive.

-The guiltless mind cannot suffer. Don’t withhold love and forgiveness or it's a compromise.

This is very powerful information!

I also want to mention the work of a few of the original teachers of ACIM, Kenneth Wapnick and his wife Gloria. Gary Renard learned from Kenneth and Gloria Wapnick when he first began studying ACIM, and The Wapnick’s have put together some very good materials for students. One book that gives added insights on life and reality is New Model of The Universe by P.D. Ouspensky. Yet another book you will want to make sure to read is Take Me to Truth which explores undoing the ego.

Here is a list of all the related A Course in Miracles items that you should consider:

quantum ripples in chaos

Many of us have asked ourselves these basic questions of existence, but has anyone ever given you an answer? Many have tried, and I believe that many have succeeded. How many of you have LISTENED to the answer? What IS the answer? Couldn’t the only possible answer in fact be The Truth? Do you think you could handle the truth? Would you want to if you could? Asking life’s big questions only seems to bring up more questions! But seriously my friends, I have invested my time into finding the answers, and I’ve journeyed to the rim of the rabbit hole of the unknown, only to sit here today conveying this message to you as a matter of public interest. I’m on a mission to spread The Truth! We are blessed to live in a time where a whole counter culture of truth seekers have developed, and communication technology is on the rise so that people around the world can share knowledge and insights! You are about to read mine on a topic that I have been preparing myself to blog about for some time– Quantum Reality. I seriously had to prepare to blog about this one… you might want to prepare yourself too before you read any further because it’s a long one! I don’t want to scare you off; I just want you to be prepared to bend your mind a bit, as the thoughts I am about to share will cause you to think a little bit more about what you call reality. You’ve been warned! (*LOL)

So let me tell you from the beginning…

I too, have asked life’s big questions. What I realized is something significant. We are focusing on the wrong part of the question, and let me tell you what I mean. Here are some of the questions that I have pondered at some point or another in my life so far…

“What is the meaning of life?”
“How did life happen?”
“What are we supposed to do with our life?”
“What is life all about?”
“What happens when life ends?”

I don’t know if you’ve ever asked yourself these things, but I have. If you knew my life story, and the circumstances that led me to the epiphanies I have had, then you will understand the questions that I have literally asked myself along my life. I only say this, because I know that some people have been fortunate enough to escape the tests of desperation for truth along the spiritual path. In any case, focus on this – regardless of the meaning and how it happened, what we do with it and what happens when it’s over LIFE JUST IS. It just IS. YOU and I just ARE. None of us can escape the reality that we are all experiencing life – the fact that life IS.

So the first realization to accept is that I AM.

Which leads to the next big question…“If I AM, than who or what AM I really?” Are we our bodies? Are we our mind? Are we our spirit? This is such a loaded question, and yes my friends I am going to make an attempt at an answer. I came to the conclusion that the True Self that is Me has to be the self that is present throughout all of my experiences. I know that my True Self is present when I am awake, but also know that my True Self is present when I am dreaming because of the simple fact that I am aware of the dream. I am experiencing the dream – ME. The someone experiencing the dream is my True Self. Yet the someone experiencing my life while awake is also my True Self - so my True Self is existent in both states of awareness. Sometimes the True Self is in both states at once like when we daydream, or have lucid dreams at night.

I see the True Self as being energy.

I think that the nature of energy and its properties are in line with this idea. Different forms of energy have been identified as the cause of all known kinds of natural phenomenon, as reported by Wikipedia. I don’t believe that the True Self is a form of energy that we can perceive with human senses, however, which makes it difficult to prove scientifically. This energy is not something you can contain within a body or a mind, it exists in both. Mind has been shown in labs to create energies that can affect the behavior of matter. Plus we can all feel our own physical energy (or lack thereof, lol). In my opinion the only concept that properly explains what the True Self could be is that it is a form of energy, and many would refer to this energy as being Spirit. Some even say Spirit can be weighed.

If you can accept that your True Self is a form of energy, then keep reading…

If you look on Wikipedia, you will see that “Spirit” means ‘breath' - breath defines what Spirit is. Well, the defintion of breath is life. Without breath there is not life. So this means that when there is no more breath we die. It's also the same with Spirit… when someone lacks Spirit they die, and when someone dies they lack Spirit. But what about Energy? According to Wikipedia, “Energy is converted from one form to another, but it is never created or destroyed”. Energy isn't born and it doesn’t "die". The energy that entered my physical body at creation existed before and will continue to exist when it leaves my physical body at destruction. It still EXISTS beyond the level of matter and form. This means that our Life Energy or True Self exists beyond “life”.

If you can accept that our True Self exists beyond “life”, keep reading...

Okay… so let’s examine “life” for a minute, and you’ll notice the quotation marks. If you look up the word in Wikipedia, it basically says that “life” is what distinguishes animate from inanimate objects. Actually the words it uses are ‘organic’ and ‘inorganic’. Well, I would like to think that “life” means a bit more than the fact that I am not a rock. Life is an adventure and a grand opportunity to do something worthwhile and possibly make your mark on the world, right? It’s interesting to point out right now that the word ‘organism’ is from the Greek word for “instrument”. This idea makes it sound like life is an instrument that each of us plays. This would mean we could all create our life like a symphony or a love song. But let me ask you, has that been YOUR life experience thus far? Has your life been like a garden path in the summer? Has it been like a warm cup of cocoa in the winter? I’m sure we have all had our moments. But WHY isn’t "bliss" a lasting life experience? Why are the positive experiences so fleeting and the negative ones so lasting? So life’s not perfect. Well, if life is not perfect, then I ask you, why would we choose to be here? Why would our True Self choose to experience a life in today’s society if there were a better alternative? Is what lies beyond life so bad that we would rather be in a world with hate and lack? Does our True Self even have a choice in where it IS??

More big questions.

Ready for the answers? I hope so because this is a mind bender my friend! I have to tell you that your True Self is being lied to. If you look closely you'll see that there is a duality at play here. Are we to accept that we are eternal energy yet we are living a life that eventually ends? Both cannot be true! If we have accepted that we are a form of eternal energy, that leaves us to question whether or not life is true. It’s mind-bending I know, but now do you understand why the word “life” needs quotations? Life not being true would mean that it’s false - it’s fake - it’s an illusion. We are "living" in a hologram! And guess what? I’m not just making this stuff up; what I am telling you is backed by science! “Life”, “Living”, “Having Lived” my friend, is an illusion. Your True Self is being lied to… by your Self. There is an aspect of your Spirit that believes in the illusion of life and living, and that aspect of you is an illusion too. A lot of energy has been focused on the fact that life is true and real. It’s hard for most people to even fathom that it’s an illusion at this point in time (2007). Imagine early man. Since existence was so fresh, there wasn’t much energy into beliefs. If they had the skills to communicate, one might have pointed out that maybe life wasn’t real. Many of the beliefs that early man took on, like assuming life was real, or that women were inferior beings, or how to transport with the wheel, etc. have been embedded into our experience and assumed to be true or perhaps “the only way we know”. How much has civilization suffered because of mistaken beliefs??? Well honey, it’s time to make known the unknown!

“God” didn’t create the universe, he’s just in it.

Knowing that life is an illusion still doesn’t answer the question of who or what ‘created’ this holographic universe. And it still leaves the question of “Why are we here in this illusion and not someplace heavenly?” “How did we get here and why??” Here’s a quantum leap in belief for some of us – the answer is that life is but a dream. Okay so you accept that life is an illusion, and what is an illusion but a dream? But who “creates” the dream? There is no outside force when it comes to dreams – you get in them because a Dreamer dreams them. Dreams are created by The Dreamer, and it is The Dreamer that wills himself to wake up from the dream. It is also The Dreamer who "experiences" the effects of the dream. But isn’t it our True Self that “experiences” the Dream of Life? That leads me to conclude that The True Self and The Dreamer are one in the same. If The True Self is The Dreamer of the Dream of Life, then The True Self is also the dream Creator.

That means YOU created life and so did I.

Huh. Say what? *LOL Yeah I said it! (What did she just say?) Am I kidding? Nope. Afraid not. Now many of you may have heard of this theory before, and I am positive that there are others that ARE aware of this novel fact, but I am making it known to those who don’t already know - God didn’t create the world, WE did. It all gets really convoluted and confusing at this point to explain the knitty gritty of this Truth. That’s exactly the point though; the chaos of it all is what keeps us stuck here. We all get busy at the futile attempt of making this life meaningful that we are neglecting to realize that we are living within a dream. You might be saying to yourself right about now, “If I created the world, then why the heck don’t I have a perfect life?” The answer to that is simple; you don’t know what the heck you’re doing! And neither do I! I mean how can we?? Our entire civilization operates on the belief that life is real... we’re not even asking the right questions! If you think about it, how can you have a perfect life if life isn’t even real?? It’s all a bit much to wrap your mind around, I know. Well, I’m the type of person that goes to the boss when there’s a problem, so I’m like “who’s in charge here?” Well apparently it’s ME, but I don’t even know who my True Self is, so how can I control this ‘dream life’ I’ve somehow created? My True Self may have created the dream of life but still… who created My True Self and where is my True Self experiencing this dream from? Ahh, even more questions, and yes my friends, even more answers.

There is a reason the universe is considered holographic.

Think about it. It’s not considered picturesque or movie like, but holographic. This would imply that the universe has similar properties to a hologram and we need to examine this a bit closer. A hologram is a three- dimensional photograph made with the aid of a laser. A hologram produces an image in 3-dimension while simultaneously storing, retrieving, and processing information.

The three-dimensionality of such images is not the only remarkable characteristic of holograms. If a hologram of a rose is cut in half and then illuminated by a laser, each half will still be found to contain the entire image of the rose. Indeed, even if the halves are divided again, each snippet of film will always be found to contain a smaller but intact version of the original image. Unlike normal photographs, every part of a hologram contains all the information possessed by the whole… at some deeper level of reality such particles are not individual entities, but are actually extensions of the same fundamental something. link to source

So if the hologram is life, then on a deeper level of reality living beings are not individuals, but rather extensions of the same fundamental something; and deep within they containg an image of their source so they always "retain all of the information possessed by the whole". WOWza.

Here is what just happened:

A. We are not separate from each other, just individual extensions of the whole.
B. Whatever ‘the whole’ is, it is our source.
C. Each one of us retains the knowledge of source within, regardless of how fragmented or separate we seem to become.

So you being there and me being here, away from each other – is an illusion. Stars only appear to be a galaxy away, but in True Reality the Stars are within and we are within the Stars. The scientific term for this is called Entanglement. In Truth we are all One, and True Reality is in Unity at Home with our Source, not stuck experiencing the fragmented Illusion of Life seemingly separate. Obviously, humanity hasn’t figured a way out of this whole charade, so it’s time to go straight to The Source. But um, what’s The Sources e-mail address? Cell Phone? Snail mail addy? Like, how am I supposed to get in contact with this Source guy??

Who or what IS the Source of Existence?

This is a burning question that has plagued humanity for ages. There are many theories of course, and we all have our own personal theory I am sure. This one guys, I am not even going to attempt, because what The Source of Existence IS, is beyond my realm of perception. It’s not humanly possible for me to fathom Wholeness or Being One from the perspective of a separated being. What I can say is that if you want to find out for yourself what The Source of Existence IS, your True Self needs to realize Wholeness or make Wholeness real for you as much as possible. If the theory of a holographic universe establishes that True Reality is in Unity with our Source, and we accept that our True Self is a form of energy, and energy is endless, then we can conclude that our Source is also endless or eternal as well.

So WHY then do we appear to be in a dream where we are NOT eternal?

This is a big one but in short the answer is because of Free Will. This is where you have lied to yourself, and brought the weight of the world upon your shoulders. On a certain level you believe that you are separate from Your Source – but hey, don’t we all? LOL Good thing it’s all just a dream! Quantum theory explains the science of it all (watch the DVD What the Bleep Do We Know); but what it all comes down to is that we are all the equivalent of a possibility thought. Our Physical Self is a possibility of what could occur IF. “If what?” Well the answer to that is the story of our lives. IF you did this, your life would turn out like that. IF you did that, your life would turn out like this. Interestingly enough, the definition of a thought tells us that it is a ‘mental process that allows beings to deal with what they desire’. We are all literally 'living out a desire thought'. However, for The Source to desire anything would mean that it is experiencing lack. The very nature of Source as Wholeness tells us that this cannot be true, which is how we know that the appearance of lack is false. To The Source the Dream of Life is an insignificant Illusion, but somehow “we” are still “experiencing” it. I submit that we are experiencing this illusion by the sheer power of Free Will, and Free Will prevents The Source from intervening on our behalf. Remember, each one of us retains the knowledge of our Source within, regardless of how fragmented or separate we seem to become. The Source is eternal and without restriction, and deep within we are too. We could not have been forced into this experience, nor can we be forced out of it. It has to have been by our own Free Will that we landed in The Dream of Life, and because of our own Free Will that The Source can’t simply pull us out.

The only way out of the illusion is to “Awaken to True Reality.”

The only way out of a dream is to wake up from it right? Well when we wake up from our life dream, what are we going to wake up to? If we are waking from an illusion, then we must wake up to True Reality. Let’s attempt to deduce exactly what it is that we will “experience” when we wake. We’ve deducted that True Reality is at Home with our Source, so we must wake up to our Source. We can kind of figure out what this would be like if we remember that the universe is a hologram illusion. So what is considered The Source of a hologram? The answer to that is The Superhologram.

At its deeper level reality is a sort of superhologram in which the past, present, and future all exist simultaneously… Allowing, for the sake of argument, that the superhologram is the matrix that has given birth to everything in our universe, at the very least it contains every subatomic particle that has been or will be -- every configuration of matter and energy that is possible, from snowflakes to quasars, from blue whales to gamma rays. It must be seen as a sort of cosmic storehouse of "All That Is."… if the concreteness of the world is but a secondary reality and what is "there" is actually a holographic blur of frequencies, and if the brain is also a hologram and only selects some of the frequencies out of this blur and mathematically transforms them into sensory perceptions, what becomes of objective reality? Put quite simply, it ceases to exist. As the religions of the East have long upheld, the material world is Maya, an illusion, and although we may think we are physical beings moving through a physical world, this too is an illusion. We are really "receivers" floating through a kaleidoscopic sea of frequency, and what we extract from this sea and transmogrify into physical reality is but one channel from many extracted out of the superhologram. link to source

Life is an illusion, but each of our lives is just one possibility from our True Source or the ‘Superhologram’. When we wake from the illusion, we wake to “The Superhologram”. We’ve deducted that True Reality is at home with our Source, which leads me to conclude that The Superhologram IS True Reality. If a ‘superhologram’ is where past present and future exist simultaneously - where space and time exist together at once – then what we wake up to is eternity united. We wake up to Eternal Unity.

HOW to “Wake Up to True Reality” and experience Eternal Unity is another story!

I am sharing this information with you as a matter of public interest, and I want you to know that I did not magically know all of these answers. It took lots of research and deep thinking to wrap my mind around it and I am talkin’ years to attain the knowledge needed to attempt a post like this. A pretty penny has been spent on books, CD’s and seminars too! I do believe that many people out there with critical ideas do not know how critical they are, and still others believe the ideas they have are critical when in fact they support separation ideas. The man who is on the money is Mr. Deepak Chopra. I recommend reading as many of his books as you can get your hands on, but the one that pertains to True Reality and Quantum Theory is a MUST read and is called The Book of Secrets. A must WATCH is the DVD “What the Bleep Do We Know” and I recommend the Quantum Edition of that. Another book that is "A New Model of The Universe" and you should also look into the work of the “What the Bleep” Scientists at their individual websites.

Here is one last idea for you to ponder:

…experiences such as Watson's are not commonplace only because we have not programmed our minds with the beliefs that would make them so. In a holographic universe there are no limits to the extent to which we can alter the fabric of reality. What we perceive as reality is only a canvas waiting for us to draw upon it any picture we want. Anything is possible, from bending spoons with the power of the mind to the phantasmagoric events experienced by Castaneda during his encounters with the Yaqui brujo don Juan, for magic is our birthright, no more or less miraculous than our ability to compute the reality we want when we are in our dreams. Indeed, even our most fundamental notions about reality become suspect, for in a holographic universe, as Pribram has pointed out, even random events would have to be seen as based on holographic principles and therefore determined. Synchronicities or meaningful coincidences suddenly makes sense, and everything in reality would have to be seen as a metaphor, for even the most haphazard events would express some underlying symmetry. Whether Bohm and Pribram's holographic paradigm becomes accepted in science or dies an ignoble death remains to be seen, but it is safe to say that it has already had an influence on the thinking of many scientists. And even if it is found that the holographic model does not provide the best explanation for the instantaneous communications that seem to be passing back and forth between subatomic particles, at the very least, as noted by Basil Hiley, a physicist at Birbeck College in London, Aspect's findings "indicate that we must be prepared to consider radically new views of reality”. link to source
