So with a great cushion going into the game, the only thought I had was that Kobe and the Lakers don't beat the Bobcats by more than 15.5+, but I never had to worry about that as Charlotte won outright. The final score was Bobcats 108 and the Lakers 95, and my bankroll increased by $517.00 with the win. Now following up with you from my last post, I won both games with Charlotte and Philadelphia winning. Those two games from Friday paid me a total of $1381.28, and since then I had one more win on Saturday for $349.07. I placed no bets today on Sunday and decided to wait till tomorrow. So if you been following this weeks post, you will see that through 03/03/08 to 03/08/08 I made a grand total of $4269.70 thanks to Sports Betting Champ. Great week of betting if I say so myself, but I do want to clear one thing up that many might be wondering...The amounts of money I make come from betting anywhere from usually minimum $750 to $1000 or more per game, by no way when you start to build your account do you have to start betting so high. Now I went into the game with taking the spread with the Bulls, and just hoping that they don't get blew out as usual. I have been a Dallas Cowboys fan for life and I did feel good this year when my cowboys beat up on the the Packers at Texas stadium. But I will admit I will miss that gunslinger that he has been known to become since his inception in the NFL 17 years ago. One good thing is that the man did go out with a Super Bowl ring at least. Being a cowboy fan and really being disappointed when Troy Aikman retired, I can only imagine how the city of Green Bay is reacting to their hero retiring. Last season, Favre broke Dan Marino's career records for most touchdown passes and most yards passing and John Elway's record for most career victories by a starting quarterback. He retires with 5,377 career completions in 8,758 attempts for 61,655 yards, 442 touchdowns and 288 interceptions."He was the prototypical gun-slinger type," said Marv Levy, Pro Football Hall of Fame coach. "He's the type of guy where, 'Oh, what's he throwing into that crowd for?' But he had intuition, toughness, resilience."Hall of Fame quarterback Troy Aikman wondered if Favre's decision was final.
