The wireless connection worked well on my five year old Toshiba Satellite laptop and often gave me a crisp-clear picture for many of the channels, but many of the other channels didn't load/play.

Nevertheless, the software worked well enough for me to watch Internet TV while away from home. A wireless bandwidth isn't large enough for many channels with larger bandwidths and as a result didn’t play. With a broadband connection all channels played with superb definition and image quality.

I have been using this software since 2007 when I had the old version. And while the old TV player worked well, there were small problems in certain areas that I had to live with. The new revamped Satellite TV for PC 2008 is shockingly good and corrected many of the problems, as well as giving me the features I always wanted. It has a sleek appearance now with an easier navigation and it’s interface is second to none.

Everything had improved dramatically with this TV player. It now includes a “Favorites” button and “Record” button to save and store favorite channels, and you can record whatever you like.
