People Magazine's online site (4/11/06) quoted Oprah as follows: Winfrey, 52, who is reportedly worth more than $1 billion, said she doesn't feel guilty about her wealth. "I was coming back from Africa on one of my trips," she said. "I had taken one of my wealthy friends with me. She said, 'Don't you just feel guilty? Don't you just feel terrible?' I said, 'No, I don't. I do not know how me being destitute is going to help them.' Then I said when we got home, 'I'm going home to sleep on my Pratesi sheets right now and I'll feel good about it.' " So, let me understand this. If you're a Liberal with more money than 1.3 Billion (as per Fortune Magazine - 4/11/06) and you actually know the name 'Pratesi' its ok to feel good about being rich. But... haven't the Conservatives been saying it's 'OK' to be rich for years? Especially when you've made it from nothing as Ms. Winfrey has. Liberals want to say ‘any 13 year old should be allowed to have an abortion without their parent’s consent. Yet, liberals say you should be 22 to possess a weapon. Therefore, you’re old enough to make the incredible permanent and powerful decision to submit your body to an abortion? Yet, you’re not old enough to possess a weapon to protect life and property! Republicans agree with no weapons for children, even if some of these weapons call themselves Doctor. Speaking of abortion… liberal doctors are now stating that the death penalty via a hypodermic needle is cruel and unusual punishment. The doctors say assisting in these legal actions is against their Hippocratic Oath. So, a Doctor can suck the brain out of a baby whose head is sticking out of the birth canal, but they have a problem inserting a needle into a murderer’s vein? LOL By the way, Hillary Clinton admitted to having prohibited her 13 year old from getting her ears pierced. She also enrolled Chelsea in a school that refused to distribute condoms to minors. She wants our daughters to be 'footloose and fancy free' like abortion rights for children and access to condoms for children, but raises her own daughter with an attempt at conservative morals? Liberals want to say ‘late term abortion should be allowed when the woman’s life is in danger.’ In scientific terms, the baby is passed through the birth canal until the head is exposed. At that point the head is punctured and the brains vacuumed out. At this point in the non-birth, as they are trying to justify it as, hasn't the mother gone through every possible bit of energy and invasiveness her body can go through in a pregnancy? The concept is insulting to anyone with half of a brain - no pun intended. Liberals call Magic Johnson a ‘hero!’ Lets see… he cheated on his wife numerous times… he had unprotected sex and risked bringing STDs home to his wife and family. He violated his vows of marriage – the ones he willingly uttered. Yeah, he’s a great American! Hollywood’s most liberal hypocrites love to do public service commercials; giving great tips on how everyone else can be a better parent. Chevy Chase embraces the concept of a 13 year old being allowed to have an abortion without her parent’s permission. Yet, his latest public service commercial (3/25/06) suggests that you and I, the viewer pay more attention to ‘what movie was played in science class today.’ What movie is a 13 year old not mature enough to decide on watching or not watching? Why is she so incapable in class and oh-so capable in the abortion clinic? One more thing… to change the subject; does Chevy go to his child’s class or does he send one of his Nannies? Isn't that the worst thing you can do to your own child - having him/her raised by a stranger who may not even speak English and is paid to care for your child for pennies while you're jet-setting? Robert F. Kennedy Jr. loves to go on talk shows (Hannity & Colmes ~ late 2005) and talk all about how bad it is for you and me to buy and/or drive an SUV. Yet, he travels around on a private jet. His issue with the SUV is the gas used and its alleged injury to the ‘ozone layer’ while he travels in a private jet that guzzles at a level no SUV can come close to. The Kennedy family, you probably don’t know this, has many members who are due family money (due with age, maturity etc.). You probably also don’t know that this money is apparently in a foreign bank – avoiding estate taxes. I say ‘apparently’ because the family refuses to talk about this allegation. It would be so easy to simply deny it if it wasn’t true – right? Isn’t it ironic that the democrats, as the Kennedy’s all are, love to raise taxes and allege that the ‘rich’ get away with too much tax relief here in the US. Meanwhile this family full of ‘rich’ people and democrats protect their money by putting it in foreign banks. If this country is such a protector of the rich and their money, why do the Kennedy’s putting their money in foreign banks? Michael Moore says nothing but bad things about oil and defense contractors; calling them ‘war profiteers.’ He also claims to have no stock portfolio, yet he owns shares in Halliburton, Honeywell and Boeing and does his postproduction work in Canada – where he doesn’t have to pay union wages like in the United States. I’m sure his movie was 100% true. Senator Edward M. Kennedy has numerous references on his website about his claim of being pro environment. He's uttered this time and time again. He's spent federal money on chemical clean-ups because he's pro environment. He has members of his own family claiming they too are 'pro environment.' Well... they are until it comes to what imposes on them and their view from their multi-million dollar compound in Hyannisport. You see, the exceptionally overweight and rumored to be forever intoxicated Senator doesn't want to view those beautiful 'wind turbines,' never mind 130 of them - as is planned. (click here to view article written about this). I'd rather go hunting with a Cheney then let a Kennedy drive me anywhere... or should I call this one "I am rushing to a vote" At 3AM"? Congressman Patrick Kennedy, son of Senator Ted "I can swim, but she couldn't" Kennedy, swore and swore and swore he was not high or drunk when his speeding car hit a DC Officer's police car in May of 2006. Well.. here it is June 13, 2006 and not only is he admitting to lying, lying and lying about having been high - he's pleading guilty, guilty, guilty without a trial. His Father is a US Law Maker, albeit not a law follower (but that's a story for another paragraph) and he doesn't opt for a trial? Let me understand this, he looked the United States in the eye and swore he was not high. That makes the Officers liars, but that's OK - the Kennedy's are not big fans of Law "ENFORCEMENT" (again, for another paragraph). It doesn't matter who they defame, as long as it gives them time to travel to their compound in the North East where the spin-doctors can come up with a lie, er, uh... 'new' truth. According to Senator Biden from Delaware "you can't go to a 7-11 or a Dunkin Donut's these days without having a slight Indian Accent... Oh, I'm not telling a lie" Now, let me understand this... if your a Democrat it is assumed you embrace political correctness and you assure YOUR voters that you believe strongly in its concept. But, if you're a Republican like Trent Lott and you're quoted as saying "When Strom Thurmond ran for President we voted for him. We're proud of it. And if the rest of the Country followed our lead we wouldn't have had all the problems over all these years" then you're under great pressure for what your comments are assumed to have meant? Sounds like a double standard, doesn't it? Click HERE to see & hear Senator Biden's embarrassing statement It's amazing how some folk love to pick their fights - even when their own hypocrisy shines throughout! Mel Gibson, a man who apparently loves 'the sauce' more than most said some vile and inexcusable things when he was locked-up for DWI in Los Angeles (he practically admitted to all of it when he apologized). His words are inexcusable and it'll be interesting if the people of Hollywood will ever forgive him; my money says not. Well it seems his words so disgusted the "US Anti-Defamation Group" that they are calling for his blood. "We believe there should be consequences to bigots and bigotry. One way to combat bigots is to put a price on bigotry. "I would hope that if this is in fact true, that his colleagues condemn him and distance themselves from him." Well, what is interesting is Mel's (I guess I can call him 'Mel' now that we are both hated by Hollywood - it brings us so much closer) words, and that is all they were - WORDS - are enough to call for such action. However, and here it comes... the hypocrisy is that the same League gives money to the likes of Senator KKK Bird. Yes, that's right; there is a Democrat in the US Senate who was a full-fledged card carrying (under his white hooded robe) member of the KKK. He admitted it, he doesn't deny it and he keeps his left-wing beliefs shining through now that he's found GOD (or whoever it was that he disgustingly disparaged in the past). So... it's OK to hate the Jews and hate Blacks as long as you say 'sorry - I'll now convert to Liberalism?' You just can't make this stuff up!! The liberals keep picking their fights and the voters keep picking Republicans - it's a great Country - AMERICA! (Article about Sen. KKK Byrd's autobiography: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/co ... 01105.html) Former President William Jefferson Clinton will always be remembered as the quintessential politician - he could sell water to a drowning man and blame it on the plumber - if you will. Well, he also had a love for the camera, mugging for it and using it for all it's worth. However, it seems he didn't know this particular camera was there when he looked up, smiling and casually chatting with a member of the white house staff. The only problem was, this was not a stroll down a Russian street where I'm sure he smiled a lot during his time living in Communist Russia - this was the funeral for a tragic loss. Ron Brown, a member of Clinton's Executive staff had died suddenly and surprisingly in a plane crash just days earlier. So, take a look at this 'YouTube' video for yourself and you'll see the switch this guy is capable of - instant tears along with the need to wipe them away (they were coming so quick I guess): Jessie Jackson added former Chicago democratic congressman Mel Reynolds to the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition's payroll. Reynolds was among the 176 criminals excused in President Clinton's last-minute forgiveness spree. Reynolds received a commutation of his six-and-a-half-year federal sentence for 15 convictions of wire fraud, bank fraud & lies to the Federal Election Commission. He is more notorious; however, for concurrently serving five years for sleeping with an underage campaign volunteer. This is a first in American politics: An ex-congressman who had sex with a subordinate won clemency from a president who had sex with a subordinate, then was hired by a clergyman who had sex with a subordinate. His new job? Youth counselor. It is important to note another difference between the Reynolds matter and the more recent Foley matter. Mr. Reynolds was never disavowed by his fellow Democrats - instead he was embraced for a great speech on the house floor (where he admitted to the lewd acts) and received three standing ovations. While on the other side of the aisle was no defending of Mr. Foley and instant, overwhelming disdain. Most importantly, there has still been no evidence found (as of Oct. '06) that Mr. Foley actually had any type of physical contact with under-age people while Mr. Reynolds did on numerous occasions - and, again, admitted to it! This may not fall under the guise of 'Hypocrite,' but it sure warrants comment. It seems Congressman Harold Ford (D / 9th District of Tennessee) likes to call himself a lawyer, but isn't! Here's the deal, there is a basic understanding amongst the lowly old folk that a 'lawyer' is someone that has gotten his/her education, taken the bar exam and now practices some type of law - civil, criminal or other. However, this is some type of loop hole with the jargon where those who go to Law School and never take 'the bar' can call themselves lawyers. If this seems to be parsing the words of a Congressman, and nothing more in your eyes than tell me this - why won't he explain his 'jargon' or deny being a lawyer as the average Joe knows one to be? We all remember how 'little john' (JFK Jr.) had to take the bar exam for NY State three times before passing and if someone as smart as a Kennedy struggles to pass this exam is Mr. Ford just "a-scared?" Wikipedia describes a lawyer as "a person certified to give legal advice who advises clients in legal matters." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lawyer)The key word being 'certified' of course. Now, 'having gone pre-med' is not the degree you want on the wall of the guy or gal who tells you if you're latest illness is life-threatening - you want it to say "MD!" Mr. Ford may well have passed the bar in Tennessee, but why won't he discuss it? He mentions his having gone to Law School (a'la pre-med) on his website (http://www.house.gov/ford/about/index.shtml), but never mentions having passed the bar. Again, if there is an assumption amongst the average Joe's of this world that he's misleading people (at the very least) why won't he just correct those who are wrong. Finally, here he is on YOUTUBE identifying himself as a lawyer: (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TqTNNDbp9ns&NR). Did he pass the bar, or not? I firmly, and sadly believe that the overwhelming majority of our Country considers themselves educated as to politics and what goes on beyond their village and their favorite sitcom by relying on spin-doctors and headlines. The late-night shows and the daily radio talk shows have again and again pointed this out by interviewing the average Joe and finding out that those old enough to vote for President of the free world or the men and women who make our laws don't even know the name of our Vice-President or worse. If you believe strongly in something and are willing to use your stature at a public figure than don't you think you should know what it is you're talking about? Shouldn't you be asking the right questions? If you don't, then others point out your weak argument or total inaccuracies for you. This could be and should be quite embarrassing. Enter Michael J. Fox. He willingly decides to do a television advertisement for the Democrat in the Missouri Senate race. Yet, when interviewed by ABC's George Stephanopoulos admits to having not read the entire bill (which is longer than the US Constitution, supposedly) and knows nothing about the bill's also legalizing cloning! So... I think Stephanopoulos should have asked him who the Vice President is! Is it considered hypocritical when you're making millions upon millions to take your clothes off in a movie here in the US ( http://www.liberalhypocrisy.org/ ![]() The opinions of this blog entry are representative of it's author's opinion and not that of the website it appears on or the website's owner. The engineering school I went to had a ratio of about 4-5 men to every woman. Not much choice in that situation. ![]() The opinions of this blog entry are representative of it's author's opinion and not that of the website it appears on or the website's owner. One man's experience is a poor statistic, but we didn't have sex in engineering lectures, there were too few women in the course for that, so most days we did have to wait until the evening. One thing I did notice was that engineers tended to hook up with doctors, nurses and other health care professionals. My hypothesis is that being practically minded they tended to go for other practically minded women. I mean how could you hold your head up and say "I'm dating a Journalism major". Either that or we knew we were liable to injure ourselves and wanted 24 hour access to a private night nurse. ![]() The opinions of this blog entry are representative of it's author's opinion and not that of the website it appears on or the website's owner. Yeah, though few people so far have managed to point that out. Not that I've seen so far. There was a great cartoon about the pregnancy thing in the local paper the other day, but I can't find it now... ![]() The opinions of this blog entry are representative of it's author's opinion and not that of the website it appears on or the website's owner. So they're implying that this is an either/or situation? You would think that a little research would have to be done to support the claim. I don't know many engineers, but I bet they could handle sex on occasion while studying. Even if they ARE black. ![]() The opinions of this blog entry are representative of it's author's opinion and not that of the website it appears on or the website's owner. It saddens me that North Carolina is seen as a near lock for McCain. Doesn't surprise me one bit. But I think it's sad that so many people in this state, with jobs being so hard to find (even minimum wage ones), think that continuing things as they are is the best option. ![]() The opinions of this blog entry are representative of it's author's opinion and not that of the website it appears on or the website's owner. Alaska, Hawaii, South Carolina... heck, I think even Texas has a group that's wanting to re-establish their old Republic. In all those cases, I wouldn't mind terribly if they came through on that. Though I sure hope SC would allow border crossings without passports from here. ![]() The opinions of this blog entry are representative of it's author's opinion and not that of the website it appears on or the website's owner. Right -- for instance if you have a set of man-made wings and a good set of gears, you can fly pretty easily on your own power. I've seen very good evidence to back up that claim. The voo-doo mojo method... not nearly so much. I am sure you'll understand that we can't just take your word for it. ![]() The opinions of this blog entry are representative of it's author's opinion and not that of the website it appears on or the website's owner.
