we talk about the iPhone and how it relates to Dashboard Widgets. We learn about several different launchers that can be used to launch widgets on the iphone as well as many galleries of widgets available for the iPhone. We touch on the specifications on making iPhone widgets as well as the Apple User Guidelines for doing so. The show covers some great dashboard widgets such as the Shredder Widget and also links to a widget.system comment on the show blog.

Today, were talking with the creator of the Chi Widget, its a really great widget that allows people to have more fun in their dashboard. Its a growing plant widget for your dashboard. Based on the real plant the Chia Pet, the widget will grow on your computer every 3 days. But like a real plant, it needs water and sunlight (not really). When clicking the water droplet button, it feeds your pet for 3 days. A fun idea coupled with great graphics makes the Chi Pet a great widget. There is a beta program for this widget which can be found at Novis Designs

Today we talk about Widget World, a great widget download website. Also, we talk about Mesa Dynamics new application that makes Google widgets work in the dashboard. You have some choices now if you are interested in using bit torrent in your dashboard. Dashboard Top Ten list found online. On tour is one of the best widgets that utilizes the ability to track concerts based upon your iTunes music. Google software for OSX and now Google widgets in our dashboards finally completes the Google circle with OSX.
