The British NICE Car Company is going to start selling another city electric vehicle. Based on the highly popular 2008 Fiat 500 super-mini and built by the Italian EV specialist Micro-Vett, the EV will have a 70 mile (112.6 km) range and a top speed of 60mph (96km/h). This is pretty much enough for your average daily commute, but will inevitably subject you to the range anxiety panic attacks if you don't have a normal diesel-powered car in your garage handy.

Although the price doesn't include a $670 destination charge, the car will nevertheless be almost $600 cheaper than the outgoing model and will definitely beat its main competitors: Chevrolet Malibu, Honda Accord, Nissan Altima and Toyota Camry.
