We had the great opportunity to interview directors Brad Helmink and John Rauschelback from Brothers Shamus Pictures. Brad and John recently completed the new horror film “The Lodge” starring Kevin McClatchy, Elizabeth Kell, Owen Szabo and Mandi Kreisher. 1. We received an e-mail today from Chris Staviski, the Producer of the Internationally award winning short film “Zombie Hunter” by director Geoff Hamby. He has informed us that it looks like the feature length film version of Zombie Hunter may be filming soon. “We are currently working with some investors who love the short and we will hopefully finalize the funds soon”, say Chris, “also, it looks like we will be doing a three picture slate of films in the next two years. Miramax released a brand new movie trailer for the upcoming drama “Reprise” by director Joachim Trier and starring Anders Danielsen Lie, Espen Klouman-Hoiner and Viktoria Winge. Synopsis: Erik and Phillip are trying to make it as writers. Erik is rejected by publishers as lacking in talent, while Phillip’s manuscript is accepted and the young man becomes a major name on the Norwegian cultural scene practically overnight.
