Never in the world have I ever seen such a close contest. The winner of this contest won by 1/10th of a point.

Before we announce the winners, I would like to be firm that this contest was fair, and that, although we had a lack of submissions, we made sure that this would not become a popularity contest.

If you hadn't known, the Programming Team voted secretly, scoring each mod in separate categories: Interface (design and navigation), Security, Theme (And how well it fit the requirements), Installation & Readme (Sorry, but nobody likes a PDF tongue.gif ), Integration, Modifying (Language, Modding, and Skinning), and Misc for creativity points, etc.

Although not everyone can win, we would like to congratulate those who tried, gave all their effort, and participated.

Invisionize will be down for upgrades Friday, January 18th morning around 3am EST. The downtime is expected to last up to one hour. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

As of tonight, we will be merging all the staff members and team members into two single groups. This is because over the past couple months, all teams have started crossing into each other's territories in order to help with overflow. Members from some teams have also been participating in projects (particularly coding) with members of other teams. So, to complete the process, we thought, "Hey, lets just make two big teams!"

All staff members will still have the same primary areas of responsibilities as before. For example, former Programming Team members will have a primary task of approving Mod and Tool submissions. However, you may see them crossing over from time to time. Likewise, the former team admins will still have primary responsibilities of overseeing those sections and the people working on them.

The Site Manager and Management groups will remain separate teams.

Over the next few days, we will be working on ways for members to see which staff members have primary responsibilities for which sections, including making avatars and indicating such areas of responsibilities in their signatures.

Change is abound here at Invisionize. To that extent, we are proud to announce the position of Site Manager.

The Management team will become chiefly responsible for the behind-the-scenes running of Invisionize, including server issues, fund-raising, and the overall direction of the site. While Management will still be active in the community and will have a hand in the running of the site, the Site Manager position will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the site, including dealing with member issues, staffing, and making sure submissions are being accepted. The Site Managers will also a joint role with Management in seeing that Invisionize projects are completed.

Basically, if you have a question or concern, and cannot get to a team or admin member, the Site Manager will be your chief point of contact.

For this position, we have chosen long time Community Admin Bondian. I will also work with Bondian as a Site Manager, as well as continuing my Management duties.

We thank Bondian for accepting our selection of him. We're looking forward to a new year for Invisionize, with the Site Manager position begun, and much more to come!
