Is there any program or registry modification that I could use to dim the backlight? Thanks in advance. Sat, 03 May 2008 22:14:21 +0200 I recently had my Cingular 8125 freeze up to the point where I couldn't even do a soft reset, so I took out the battery. When I tried to boot it again, I got to the Cingular screen, it loaded the ROM data, but then the backlight shut off and the screen then slowly faded. However, the two led's on the top still blinked. One green and the other blue. The only ways I could get the screen to turn on again were by pressing the soft reset button or taking out the battery and turning it on again. Tue, 22 Apr 2008 21:29:33 +0200 I am very sad. I depend on my Wizard so much every day that even the slightest hiccup sets me off my game. I need HELP DESPERATELY. I've had an unlocked 8125 for not quite two years now. I didn't do alot of modding to it, just the basic Smartskey and Omapclock. Added Resco Utilities and Today plugin. Opera Mobile, SPB Time, SPB Backup, Filao Sudoku and most importantly TomTom 5.21. Haven't added anything since then. Slowly but surely the Wizard started crashing. Generally when in TomTom or Sudoku. Then it would have a VERY difficult restarting, often rebooting 4 or 5 times before it would make it all the way. Sometimes just locking up at the boot screen requiring battery removal. Over a couple of months it has become constant. Now running almost any program it will crash at some point in the middle of working. Thu, 10 Apr 2008 14:04:40 +0200 Linux on the HTC Wizard - The Linwizard Project Due to the limited nature of Windows Mobile and reduced interoperability with non-Windows systems, on 2006 the Linwizard Project was opened. The aim of the project is to replace Windows Mobile with GNU/Linux and a beautiful GPE/OPIE Window Manager. Thu, 03 Apr 2008 17:12:14 +0200 I have Qtek 9100, firstly I would like to say that it's fantastic phone/PDA. One thing concerns me a bit. I would like to know how could I hide SIM card contacts and show only contacts stored in the phone. Sun, 30 Mar 2008 09:25:43 +0200 I was wondering if anyone had attempt to removed the keyboard of the wizard, making it..thinner! I never have use for it. I studied the service mannual> how to disembly the wizard, and thought it might be possible, but I haven't give it a try. Will the wizard still function if I were to removed the keyboard? |
