Debuting at Geneva showroom is the captivating Alfa 8C Spider. Like the Alfa 8C Competizione, the Gran Turismo which received resounding global praise; the new “discovery” will be produced in a limited edition run of 500. Elaborated by the Centro Stile Alfa Romeo, the new car re-affirms the brand’s excellence in this sector, as shown by some Spider’s being regarded among the most beautiful cars in global automotive history. Cars such as the Giulietta Spider from the 50’s or the legendary Duetto made famous by “The Graduate” from 1967 with a young Dustin Hoffman. Today, it’s the Alfa 8C Spider’s turn to take centre stage and project into the future the values of technology and emotion which belong to the Alfa Romeo legacy.

Ferrari this morning released the first three photos of its new Ferrari California. The exotic grand tourer will be on display at the Paris International Car Show in October. The hardtop convertible is powered by Ferrari’s 4.3-liter V8, producing 460 horsepower.
It’s not known if the car will be marketed as simply “Ferrari California,” or as “Ferrari F430 GT California,” as a recent trademark filing suggested.

Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, is presenting the new Boxster RS 60 Spyder in Germany. From April 4, the most recent model in the successful Boxster series will be celebrating its first home appearance at the 18th Auto Mobil International (AMI) in Leipzig. The city is home to Porsche’s second production location, complementing the main factory in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen.
At the motor show there are other highlights to be appreciated, too: the innovative power train of the future Cayenne, with its Full Parallel Hybrid drive giving particularly low fuel consumption, and the Porsche RS Spyder racing car.

Alongside the redesigned Focus sedan for 2008 comes a completely new body style — the Focus Focus Coupe. The two-door model replaces the hatchback offered as a part of the previous-generation Focus lineup.
For the most part, the Focus Coupe is identical to its sedan counterpart, minus two doors. It weighs the same, it has an identical wheelbase, and it’s even the same overall length.

Today a small tidbit of news came through the proverbial grapevines that a Volkswagen source has confirmed to Automotive News that Bugatti is indeed working on a Veyron Targa. Bugatti spokes person Georges Keller confirmed that his company is working on a "convertible".

Despite the sheer number of near-production Camaro test-mules cropping up in both the U.S. and Australia and the recent release of its Dodge Challenger rival, GM’s new muscle car won’t be arriving in showrooms for more than a year. A lot of things could happen in the next 12 months and the Camaro we get in 2009 may not share much with the concept version first revealed in 2006.
Fortunately, these new spy shots show that designers have kept most of the lines of the original concept but what’s worrying is GM is keeping a close lid on any details about the interior.
