Articles covering the intensely fast-paced world of pc gaming by one of the UK's leading gaming pc manufacturers. Sat, 05 Aug 2006 11:53:04 +0200 Waiting was hell, but it wasnt the BEAST guys fault. Id had a bad experience with Alienware, and turned to a BEAST after a month of waiting for anything to happen with the AW. Thus i was pretty eager to get my hands on a new rig. BEAST (And in particular Lee) answered every question i had, which was quite a few :p Response to e-mails was quick, and the chance to talk on MSN was very useful...something that just wont happen with any other company.

And, true to style, no sooner had we touched foot to ground when we were given our 1st mission - to regroup with the rest of The Ghosts...
Tue, 01 Aug 2006 22:29:48 +0200 There's no doubt that physics processing takes a chunk out of the GPU's processing power, yet gamers demand more realistic physics properties, hence the need for dedicated physics processing engines such as Havok, but what of the next step? Evolution in technology is always going to happen and it was only a matter of time before something like PhysX hit the industry.
