Greetings Fellow Globilites
Just a note to let everyone know I posted a Platform Round-Up on the front page of iGlobility.com. It compares the out of the box features of Windows Mobile, BlackBerry, and of course the iPhone. It might prove helpful for folks looking to get a new device. Until next time, have a GREAT week, and stay Globile! Yours In Globility Craig Sent from my iPhone Greetings Fellow Globilites!
I have made the plunge into what some would call purgatory, and others would call heaven. I purchased an iPhone!!! Why you ask? Well, honestly, because I could! Now, what I intend to do with it is use it for side by side reviews between Windows Mobile & BlackBerry. Not based on what I think each platform should do, but on what each camp states the platform will do. Of course, there will be interjection as to what may or may not be missing from a common sense point of view. An example of this might be the lack of the ability to truly close applications on Windows Mobile or the inability to highlight, copy and paste in the iPhone... I will be doing these over the next few weeks so look for them on iGlobility.com. As always, have a great one, and stay Globile! Craig Sent from my iPhone He was heading east on Highway 183 in Northern Texas. At least, this guy must have thought he was Jesus. He was driving an immaculate white Suzuki Forenza with a license plate that read
DEITY Oh my... Yours in Globility, Craig Greetings Fellow Globilites!
There is a new review on iGlobility.com. It is for the Noreve Archos 604 Tradition Case. It is for the Archos 604 media player. The case is an example of what can be achieved when attention is paid to detail. The review can be seen here: www.iGlobility.com. Have a great week and stay Globile! Yes, I know, I have been out of pocket for some time now. No excuses, no apologies!
I recently picked up the T-Mobile Wing running WM6 Professional, and will start reviewing products created for this platform. However, keeping in the spirit of Global Digital Mobility, and knowing that this is not a category solely limited to the PDA, and PDA Phones, our next review will be a little different. We will be doing a review of the Noreve Archos 604 Tradition Leather case. It is a beautiful black leather case, which can be seen here: Noreve 604 Tradition Leather Case I should have it on the site in about two weeks. Take a moment to visit iGlobility.com and read the review and other happenings in the world of Global Digital Mobility. Until we meet again, have a great one and Stay Globile! Greetings Fellow Globilites!

I leave the house 4:45 and 5:30 each morning on days I have to work, go to Starbucks, do some school work, then head out to the job. Usually it is a very peaceful event, but lately there is construction on the highway I take. AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!! Can ya feel the frustration!?! Since my wife uses the car to take the boys to the babysitter, I drive the motorcycle. I really enjoy the ride, except when... It is too HOT (I live in Texas, so this is the norm) There are traffic backups (Yep, DFW Metroplex, usually traffic) And... When they are doing construction... Here's why. Whey they are doing construction, there is always loose gravel floating around in the air from cars that kick it up. Being on a motorcycle in that environment is like that duck in that old video game, just flying about, looking to get shot!!! Well, yesterday I was rolling along, and chunk of gravel hit the fingernail on the middle finger of my left hand!!! Of all the targets it could hit, it somehow got my FINGERNAIL! And yes, I was screaming, as I was cruising down the asphalt! At least I got to show off my boo boo to everyone (that was pretty cool!!!). I wore gloves today... So, here is the daily ponder... What is the deal with teleportation? Is it really that difficult to figure out? Yeah, it is, but hey, we can put a man on the moon (or did we???), why can’t we beam around the planet? Those guys in Britain beamed some light from one place to another, what is the hold up!!! Teleportation, the ultimate in Global Digital Mobility! OK, talk amongst yourselves, and stay mobile!
Finally, a day where it is nice enough to sit outside and relax. I tend to find the weather in Texas a bit too inhospitable for my Northern Michigan blood. As you can see from the pic I took with the MDA, it is a beautiful day in Texas. What is the weather like in your neck of the woods? Snap off a shot and post it on the Blog! Well, I am sitting in a Starbucks along side the highway, and man, these people need to stop using their product. They are way to perky! One guy is regaling the others how he is going to send customers on their way with a farewell quoting Neil Young "Keep On Rocking In The Free World!" Oh my...
As I sit and work on college stuff (yes, I am back in school, finishing that ever elusive degree via distant learning institution Walden University; http://waldenu.edu/), I am using my MDA to listen to the Morning Read of The Wall Street Journal from Audible.com, and typing class assignments on my Sony Vaio with WiFi (T-Mobile HotSpots Rock!) I am publishing this post via Blogger Mobile and drinking a Venti Earl Grey tea. Man, ain't this a great world we live in?!? What did our forefathers do before the advent of computers, PDAs and all this other cool crap we take for granted... And that brings us to our question for this posting... Imagine if you will your life taking place just 60 years ago. What do you think you would be doing??? Have a great day, and stay mobile! Lewis C Grey Host, http://iglobility.com/ Greetings!
This is the first post in the blogosphere for iGlobility. This is a blog for mobile device users, and anyone else that wants to join up... I am a fan of mobile devices, and I like to kid myself that they make my life better. In all actuality, they probably frustrate the heck out of my wife as I tend to spend more time with it than I do her. Mostly I use my device (T-Mobile MDA) for testing software, and other fun things like that. Stop by and visit us on the web anytime at www.iglobility.com Your host, Lewis C Grey |
