The Environment Agency and partners WRAP, through Defra BREW funding, are producing a series of Quality Protocols to define the steps that need to be taken to enable certain materials to cease to be classified as waste and therefore not subject to waste regulatory controls.

In May 2008, RPS was appointed as Technical Advisor to Gloucestershire County Council. RPS will provide advice and assistance in relation to the procurement of one or more residual waste management contracts for the council, supporting GCC through the entire procurement process.
