Sorry for the long delays in the new episode, folks. Real life reared it's ugly head again. I've spent the last month and a half or so doing nothing but car work every weekend. I'll be working on the new episode soon. And boy, will it be a doozy, I think. I don't wanna give too much away, but suffice to say that this weekend is my last weekend being a married man. Okay.. so I'm back from New Jersey, and I've finished the show. Things have been up and down a bit. Okay.. So.. about 3 weeks ago I said "New Episode coming!" And yes, to be fair, I did record the first half of the new episode. However, I've also been stressed out with transferring departments at my job, as well as planning an upcoming trip. Trip? What's that you say? Yes. I leave tonight for a week's stay in NJ for photography purposes, and to spend a week with my most wonderful lady-love in the world. I debated trying to rush out a last minute second-half to the show, and get something in the can for you, but I don't really wanna do a piss-poor job and record meaningless crap (okay, it's -ALL- meaningless crap) rather than take my time, go on my trip, refresh my batteries, and come back to do a much better, more spectacular show for you! I'm going to be spending much of this week en femme, and in the company of another MTF who's much further along in her transition than I am, so I should have -PLENTY- to talk about when I get back! This is a "pre" Show posting. I'll be spending this weekend out and about.. I'm going to a convention. Vikky oughta enjoy this next show, 'cos I'm going to be spending the entire weekend at Midwest Furfest. This'll be my very first time going to a Furry Con.. and at the same time, I'm also going as Sabrina for the entire weekend. Not just a night, not just at home.. but an entire weekend, female, in public. Big step for me, I think.. I'm taking along my laptops and my iRiver and am planning, if possible, to try to record while at the con. And if I happen to find other TG furs (Hell, in my little circle alone I can count at least.. umm.. 5 or so?) that are willing to be on air with me, I may try to talk about TG in Furry fandom, TG in general, etc. Yes, it'll be experimental. Yes, it'll be my first time trying to record from a big social event in public. Yes, it'll probably sound horrible. But hey, ya gots to try new things, right? Plus, expect pictures! (Things are progressing more quickly than I realized with the hormones. The tender lumps in my breasts, I have discovered, are signs of the "first step" of puberty in GGs. I've also noticed, recently, that I'm beginning to have a noticeable inward curve in my back that's beginning to resemble the natural curve a GG has on their backside. Whether this is a due to my hips beginning to tilt forward, increased fat / fat redistribution to the hips/buttocks area or a combination of both is up for debate, but I'm -definitely- noticing it. Holy crap, when they say hormones are powerful stuff, and not to take them lightly, they're not kidding! You think nothing's happening, and then *WHAMO*) For what it's worth, though, I'm quite pleased with the developments. I'd like to think this is a good indication that maybe I should seriously consider trying to find a therapist by hook or by crook and begin to seriously consider full transition. But that's something to think about later. Anyways, barring any major mishaps, look for a new episode coming to your podcatcher soon! -Sabby

After a long hiatus.. Sabrina Talk returns.. unfortunately not on the best note.. But return nonetheless. No news this time, just a long rambly "where I've been and what I've been up to." Show. Nothing special, and not the greatest show I've ever done, but it is what it is. Hope you enjoy it, and hope this harkens to future shows and getting back on that train a'rollin'.

07-09-07 UPDATE: I was able to upload the show again, with no apparent problems, so I think the double-up problem is fixed.. Hopefully you should be able to get the show again. Enjoy! UPDATE: Podomatic Users are reporting problems in the Podomatic Forums of having difficulties uploading files, and it's been reported that PoM may be having a problem with a specific server that is only affecting a small portion of users, and not the entire PoM userbase. So it appears that may be the root of the recent difficulties with the new show -- Trying to remove and re-upload the new show is also not possible at the moment, as the uploads to the server are failing. I'll keep everyone posted as I get more info! A few listeners have informed me that the new episode appears to be "doubled-up," where the show continues from the beginning after it ends. I was having some trouble uploading the file to Podomatic, and am working to correct this. In the meantime, nothing is cut or missing from the show, you're just getting a second helping of Sabrina! -S

Tonight's regularly scheduled episode of Sabrina Talk has been pre-empted by the State of the Union Address , just like every other major TV network, although in Sabrina Talk's case, the State of the Union address was accompanied by pizza and a large dose of mocking and/or yelling at the tv screen. However, not to fret! I am currently recording bits of the show, and the final production should be completed by tomorrow.. It looks like Podomatic has decided to place banner ads on free users' pages now -- I received no prior notice this was going to happen. See the news below. I may have to update to a paid account sooner than expected, or I may have to find another host service for the show. News: If the show continues to grow, I will need more space to store shows and more bandwidth per month. Currently, I have used almost 1/3 of my current storage space for files, and I will already need to downsample my shows to reduce the bandwidth and storage needs. I will also be recording future shows most likly at 64kbps mono settings, again to save space and bandwidth. However, I suspect that may not be enough, and that I will have to soon upgrade to a a "pro" account. The free accounts seem to have been designed for shows much shorter in length, and I simply will need the extra storage capacity and bandwidth. The advanced statistics and options won't hurt either. Today is the 8th Transgender Day of Rememberance.

Well, I was hoping to grow my user base a little more here on podomatic before I decided to branch out, but it seems like that's going to be difficult, so a little self-promotion is in order, and so I've decided to see if I can get this listed at iTunes. I've also decided to list at podcast pickle, so I can now be found there as well.

The first ever "test" show of Sabrina Talk! This is the first I've recorded, and hope to gauge listener response. I talk about my take on TG political activism, a little about myself, and Second Life.
