Sun, 20 Jul 2008 21:46:00 +0200 One of the great advantages of regular meditation is that it enhances your sense of intuition. The more you practice meditation, the more you gain insight into every aspect of your life. Insights can relate to present or past events, leading to a greater understanding of your life's path, or they can relate to future events.
Insights into future events can be challenging in four ways: 1. The future is not fixed. Until you experience it, the future remains as an array of possibilities with a "most likely" scenario based on what holds the greatest energy. 2. Viewing the future can change the outcome. Even a 100% accurate view of the most likely scenario will trigger questions about whether you want that scenario to manifest, and that change can influence the outcome. This can give the illusion of inaccuracy in the original prediction. 3. Inner impressions come into your awareness through your imagination. However, a fertile imagination can create images on its own, almost for pure entertainment. True impressions of a future event arrive while you are in a meditative state, or sometimes while performing a monotonous task such as driving at a constant speed. They don't fire up with the great energy of a dramatic imagination. They slip in quietly and have to be examined and unraveled to see what each impression contains. 4. When you first start scanning the future, your predictions will be less accurate than they will become later, after constant practice. Sometimes, lack of self-esteem can be a barrier to the development of your innate abilities. In that case you need to be aware that everyone is everything that Infinite Being is. The universe is holographic by design, meaning that while the many make up the One, the One is also mirrored within each of the many. So, each person, each spark of Infinite Being, contains all of the qualities of Infinite Being. Lack of self-esteem, therefore, is only a personality trait and not reflective of your true self. You have a perfect sense of intuition or insight, just waiting to be developed. One of the hallmarks of the global Shift to higher consciousness is that, with each passing year, more and more people will develop more and more of their inner abilities. While you are practicing your intuitive skills, it is a good idea to make written notes for later reference. Insights arrive in your consciousness while you are in an altered, meditative state, so their memory dissipates quickly just like the memory of your dreams. If you keep notes, then re-read them weeks or months later, you will be amazed at how accurate many of these insights were. Sometimes, you will also see how insights into less than desirable scenarios caused you to make a decision to steer your life in a different direction. When faced with decisions about which direction to turn, the best barometer is always your highest joy. Ask yourself: "What scenario would represent my highest joy?" When you follow your highest joy, you are following the path through life which is most closely aligned with your true essence - your soul or inner self. I recommend reading my first article on this subject entitled, The 2012 Problem which discusses the difficulty in pinpointing a singular date as a hinge point for some great transition.
Rather, I believe the December 21, 2012 date to be a symbol that exists as an extraordinary irony. Any particular date is a man created marker denoting the concept of a point in time. If you consider that events could happen before a date or after a particular date, then our concept of ‘time’ would also by implication denote the passage of time. I find this ironic since the great transition or evolution we may be approaching surely has to do with complete renovation of our time consciousness or even the eradication of time itself. It’s quite likely time is easily eradicated since it really doesn’t exist in the first place! Time is a notion or a perspective. It is not a tangible thing unto itself. Time is the result of our habitual observation of things and events, and how we have learned to mark their existence or occurrence. In any event December 21, 2012 is the date that the ancient Mayan calendar comes to a conclusion. This end of a great cycle in Mayan prophesy coincides with similar prophesies of other indigenous peoples like the North American Hopi. The great angst people across the globe share about the condition of humankind and the planet itself suggests that a rapid transformation and change could happen. We are like the animals that can sense the storm coming and head for cover. It may be unavoidable. In speaking about our collective angst I am referring to a plural consensus that exists across almost all national boundaries, that is a concern about dwindling resources and about what seem to be insurmountable environmental and political problems. It would seem that humankind goes from one crisis to the next. We exist in a constant state of alertness awaiting the next news of a new war, or rocketing costs of living, or the currency we use to buy things dwindling in its value. The Al Gore film, An Inconvenient Truth was hugely successful worldwide, and has galvanized mainstream thinking around the idea of climatic change due to carbon emissions. We recently heard that the world’s human population will reach 7-billion by 2012. Population is now growing so rapidly that there has been a four-fold increase in just the last 100 years! When graphed this growth is termed exponential or asymptotic and the trend line is kind of J-shaped. Population growth occurred at a constant rate for 10,000 years (A in the graph below) until the Black Death swept across the European continent and resulted in a decline of one-fourth of all humans on earth. Then during a relatively short period of only 62 years, the Guttenberg Bible was printed in 1455, Columbus sailed to the West Indies in 1492, and Martin Luther put forth his 95 Theses in 1517. Thus you had the printed word, the dawn of the age of discovery and the Christian reformation occurring almost simultaneously. If you consider that the commonly held belief of the time was that of a relatively small flat earth; the journey of Columbus changed humanity profoundly. This was also a time approaching the end of a 1,000 year period of the dark ages where all earthly authority was subject to the church, and so Martin Luther’s act of defiance revolutionized all human authority almost overnight. The dark ages were a time when almost all people could neither read nor write; there was no need of it. The dawn of the printed word exploded radical change in human experience allowing people for the first time to obtain information in a brand new way. These great transformations occurring almost overnight brought the conclusion of the dark age and ushered in transformation of individual and group consciousness with such speed that those people’s notion of their ‘humanness’ and even their ideas about their cultures were forever and profoundly transformed. The world was never the same again.  This astounding change of human thinking and consciousness transformed human culture on the planet and literally increased the ‘carrying capacity’ of human civilizations. Our confidence as a species expanded. We knew we had made a breakthrough to a new day! Then the further cultural efficiencies achieved during the period of the industrial revolution during the late 18th century have allowed human population to increase even more rapidly, resulting in exponential growth for the last 250 years (B in the graph above).(1) A few years ago I read an article that suggested that around half of all the human beings that have ever been born are alive today. This idea has spread and been taken as fact when it is simply not true. Regrettably, I think I have made reference to this erroneous information in lectures I have given. What is true is that enough information exists to calculate that roughly 106.4 billion people have existed since the dawn of man say 55,000 years ago. That means that 5.8% of all the people who have ever been born are alive today. In any case the 5.8% percentage is still astounding to me. The collective human consciousness that is embodied in living, breathing human beings presents the possibility I believe of a group or collective responsibility or karma that is drawing us to a conclusion and transformation. When the Black Death concluded on the European continent in the 14th century the remaining human population at the time also held a collective karma that catapulted humanity into complete transformation just 100 years later. People of the time had no idea of the enormous change that was just around the corner. I believe that as we approach 2012 we are experiencing a sort of Karmic compression. This compression is a speeding up of the rate that consequences of our actions become manifest in our lives. Referring to consequences; I mean both ‘good’ and ‘bad’ consequences. They are only the result of our actions or of the energy we put out. Our intentions of service to each other are quickly forming into projects and cooperative ventures which are readily accepted. When this happens, we are experiencing our intentions becoming manifest. In like manner our karma knocks us back when we become self serving and arrogant. Instant karma's gonna get you This principle of Karmic compression is important as we approach a time of great change because it will teach us that we are connected to everyone and everything. The great illusion and the great lie that we have been led to believe is that we have been separate from each other. When you act in a way that is unkind to another, and you very quickly receive an echo of your unkind act coming back to you, you then soon begin to realize that you and the person you were unkind to are the same. There is a synapse in our experience of ourselves and our experience of others that is closing. I suggested in my first article about 2012, entitled The 2012 Problem, that our notion of time itself was going to go through a dramatic shift. Perception of time as we are accustomed exists in viewing each moment as separate to every other moment. In other words, we have become accustomed to experiencing time itself much in the same way as we do any other people, or things. Every part of time is separate from every other part of time. Just like those people in the 14th century we now have very little understanding about what is ‘just around the corner’! Something really incredible is about to happen! If in a relatively short period of time, a brand new ‘meta quality’ will be added to the consciousness experience of individuals, then the relevance of future or past events will fall away and the relevance of the clock will fall away. The consciousness we are adapting to is beyond any benchmark previously established. Human consciousness will come to exist inside a new holographic knowing. It will exist in the stillness of the present moment. This is a change over in consciousness that will forever transform who we are as human beings. The renaissance period of the 14th to 17th centuries will mirror exactly another great revolution of consciousness we are now embarking on. We are standing in the doorway of a brand new renaissance; a brand new confidence. The Kogi Indians of northern Colombia have a concept of consciousness called Aluna. They believe in a point of reference that is within us or an inner dimension where from that point time itself ceases to exist as we know it. In the Aluna dimension everything that is in the past and the future exists together with the present moment. The Aluna dimension is a real place; it is a real point of reference that exists in all of us. Perhaps it lies dormant in many people now, but like an unused or vestigial organ, it is a perception, that once awakened, becomes alive and prominent. When Columbus made his journey even the skeptics had to take notice; commonly held truth changed … for everybody. This dimension of timelessness is real. Inevitably we will all awaken. While the greatest percentage of humanity exists in post-modern consumer cultures, there are small numbers of indigenous Indian cultures like the Kogi all over the planet. These cultures have survived for millennia and most of their cultural values remain the same today. There is a deep connection among indigenous people with the earth as the source of life. They view the earth as the giver of life and sustenance. They live in harmony with nature. They will not put a spade in the ground to plant seeds without first making an offering or a prayer of appreciation to the earth. They know that who they are came from the earth. They view all living creatures as equal to themselves. This connection to the earth is the recognition that all things and everything is connected. Many have lost this connection to this oneness or source; their waking minds are habituated to the notion of separateness. As human consciousness is transformed the perception of the unity of all things, the interconnectedness of all things emerges naturally. In fact every cell of our bodies does come from the earth. Even ‘man-made’ materials are really just compounds that were first taken from the earth and re-shaped into something ‘man made’. The earth provides us with a perfect life support system. Our planet provides air to breathe; water to drink; animals and plants for food. Who knows what a perfect human diet is. We try to employ the use of superfood plants like Açai in our workshops. Certain foods like Açai can literally supercharge our bodies. Surely the plants provision of a ripe fruit, ready to eat, hanging on a tree for us to pick is nature’s definition of a fast food drive up window! I suspect that much of human diet evolved around priorities like food preservation and supply and not necessarily eating the most healing and nutritious food. The plants give us ready to eat food to nourish our bodies. But plants exist in a much more complete (albeit sometimes forgotten) relationship with humans. There are a whole assortment of other plants that, being medicinal in nature, give us healing for the infections, illnesses and maladies of the body. Many of today’s synthetic drugs marketed by pharmaceutical companies are created as synthetic facsimiles of a medicinal plant source. Still other plants exist that are healers of human souls. These plants are the shamanic plant teachers and have been used for millennia by people like to Kogi to enable their perception from the Aluna dimension. How fitting it is that we of the civilized world turn to indigenous traditions in order to comprehend and endure another great transformation of our very humanness. At the same time, see white light from the Earth entering the base of your spine and traveling up the spine, then forward, to merge with the cosmic energy in the heart chakra. The energies of the Cosmos and the Earth will fuse together and cause an energetic reaction at the frequency of the heart chakra. This fusion forms a ball of energetic white light in the heart chakra. With every out-breath, send the power of this energetic reaction out to the world. Direct it as a beam of white light from your heart chakra, out into the world. Continue this in-breath, out-breath cycle for at least five minutes each morning and you will not only help heal the world, you will change your entire day for the better. The universe reflects who you are. When you practice healing the world, by automatic reflection, you heal who you are. Any and all issues which have been challenging for you will move closer towards resolution as you help the world in this way. The film explores how we’ve arrived at this moment -- how we live, how we impact the earth’s ecosystems, and what we can do to change our course. This movie features ongoing dialogues of experts from all over the world, including former Soviet Prime Minister Mikhail Gorbachev, renowned scientist Stephen Hawking, former head of the CIA R. James Woolsey and sustainable design experts William McDonough and Bruce Mau in addition to over 50 leading scientists, thinkers and leaders who discuss the most important issues that face our planet and people. I felt that the film was very well made. The first parts of the movie were very grim. In a sense the movie was initially apocalyptic in many ways. This doom and gloom half of the movie almost made me give up on the human race. But the grimness served its purpose, to motivate and inspire people to take action, and realize we really don't have much time to make some major changes. The second half of the movie really picks up. Once you have almost given up hope, the movie forces you to imagine a sustainable future. Near the end of the film, I was able to envision a future where the Earth and the human race live in harmony once again. All my life, I have felt a strong connection to nature and Mother Earth. I really felt for the struggling/sick Gaia. Regardless, this movie taught me that Gaia will continue to live on through global warming. It is the human race that will not. But the human race still has that choice they can make to drastically change their ways. It all comes down to you... May will be an extraordinary month in an extraordinary year. You will experience, on the 20th of May, the second "Buddha" Full Moon, when the Sun will be in Taurus and the Moon in Scorpio. So, in this Lunar Cycle between the "Buddha" moons, Earth will be flooded with the Golden Flame of Compassionate Love that is held in the Buddha field that embraces Earth at this time. And so, the opportunities for raising consciousness very rapidly and effecting major transformations both on the personal and planetary levels is greatly amplified. Beloved Lightworkers, we say too, that although this Radiant Light is called the "Buddha" field, it is also a manifestation of the Balanced Flame of Source. The Golden Light is always transmitted from Source to carry both the Divine Masculine and the Divine Feminine codes, and it is the Divine Feminine that carries the code of Balance. The Great Cosmic Goddess and Mother of Balance is called Ma'at, and her energy creates the Field of Light that supports Balance for Peace and Truth and Love. So, at this time of healing and balancing, the Light Codes of Ma'at will awaken the Field of Peace and these Codes will be transmitted into manifestation through the element of water. The water in your blood and your cells will transmit the codes to your body, and the water in the Oceans and water bodies of the Earth will transmit the codes to Earth herself and into her grids of crystalline light. And the Earth will celebrate the return of Ma'at or Cosmic Balance, as her Codes of Light are once again received so that the balance might be created and the Earth return to her place in the Cosmic Balance Field of Love. And so it is, Beloved Ones, that you are now healing your relationships with your body, with the Earth, with the Source and with each other. You will find a powerful force of love in the next month that will guide you to heal and release all illusions and to begin weaving in absolute truth. As you heal your relationship with your Body, and accept who you are, you will realize that your body is the perfect vehicle for your soul in its journey on the Earth. You will learn to honor your body and to trust its ability to Heal and Balance. You will no longer fear disease and suffering, for you will no longer need to weave such distorted creations fron your DNA. You will weave in Love according to the template of Health and Vitality. AS you heal your relationship with the Earth, you will learn once again how the Earth supports you and loves you and provides for your every need. You will weave from Joy and you will weave experiences of Joy. You will no longer recreate distorted experiences of pain and suffering, for a balanced heart creates balanced experiences of love. You will heal you relationship with Source, for you will no longer see God as a distant Father figure, but you will perecive the Light of Source within yourself and within all Creation. You will see that "God" is both Masculine and Feminine and Child-like, and you will laugh at the wonder of the energy of a God perceived without distortion or fear. And you will heal your relationships with each other. You will feel, at this time, a need to balance and heal relationships with others. As you align with your own inner truth, or Ma'at, you will clearly see this in others, and your truth will align with theirs. You will also clearly be able to see where truth becomes distortion, and to heal that distortion with the Light of Love and Peace. This article explains the nature of spiritual energy and how it can be used in, for example, distance healing, world healing, or simply for enhancing meditation. Like the principle of electrical generation, the principle of spiritual energy generation shows how a specific type of energy flow may be generated. In the case of electrical generation, a flow of electricity is created in a certain direction. In the case of spiritual energy generation, a flow of spiritual energy is created in a certain direction. Spiritual energy is etheric energy conditioned by spiritual intent. Etheric energy is a primary energy of the universe, while electric energy is a secondary, more dense form of energy. Etheric energy is also known by many other names around the world, including life energy, vital energy, prana, bioenergy, orgone, ki, chi or qi. For the last 5,000 years in traditional Chinese medicine, the vital pathways of etheric energy in the human body have been balanced using the healing modality of acupuncture. More recently, the electrical genius Nikola Tesla produced vast quantities of etheric energy using, apparently, very high frequency electricity as a method of attracting etheric energy out of the atmosphere. Because its behavior is very different from regular electricity, he referred to it as 'cold electricity.' Just as the atmosphere is filled with electrons, ready to be channeled through an electric generator, so is it also filled with etheric energy. All energies are supplied and replenished by the Sun, including the mental energy that forms the global mind atmosphere or mind belt around the Earth. The mind belt is conditioned by the thoughts and emotions of mankind. Each person constantly attracts mental energy, conditions it by their thoughts and actions, and passes it back into the mind belt. Every one of us affects everyone else. A spiritual act - one which expresses unconditional love - by anyone anywhere upon the planet improves the mind belt of the whole planet. A destructive act by anyone anywhere upon the planet degrades the mind belt of the whole planet. Etheric energy is a more subtle energy than electricity, and a more dense energy than mental energy. However, because of its vibrational proximity to mental energy, it responds readily to applied mental pressure. The human mind can, through visualization and intent, attract etheric energy, condition it in any way desired, and then direct it towards any desired objective. In 1831, at the dawn of the electrical era, visionary scientist Michael Faraday published his discovery of the law of electromagnetic induction. This law, or principle, states that an electric current will be induced in a conductor when it is moved across a magnetic field. At the time, it seemed like the strangest thing in the world. Moving a conductor forward across a magnetic field would invoke an electrical current sideways in the conductor. This discovery showed that, with electrical generation, nothing happened in the same direction as anything else. All three directions in space were involved - a metal conductor that ran forward through a magnetic field that ran vertically, producing an electric current that ran sideways. It was truly awe-inspiring to those who saw this phenomenon clearly demonstrated for the first time. This discovery then opened the door to the generation of electricity in large quantities. As the idea was developed, electricity went on to replace steam as the working medium of the Industrial Revolution, and later gave birth to the field of electronics. Today, the new frontier of discovery is in spiritual energy. Realizing that spiritual energy exists, and understanding how it can be attracted, conditioned and transferred, opens up a whole new realm of possibilities in mankind's use of all types of God-given energies. Both electric energy and etheric energy respond to pressure. In the case of electrical energy, voltage is the measure of electrical pressure. The more voltage you have available, the more electrical energy you can move through a circuit. In the case of etheric energy, the application of pressure via mental intent is similar to the principle of voltage. The more intense your intent, the more etheric energy you will move toward your intended objective. For example, if you are sending distance healing energy to a friend at another location, the stronger the pressure of your applied intent, the more healing energy you can generate and transfer to them. There is a key difference between plain, unconditioned, etheric energy and spiritual energy. Spiritual energy is etheric energy conditioned by spiritual intent. In order to achieve the spiritual conditioning of etheric energy and transform it into spiritual energy, the individual's consciousness has to first rise into the frequency range of spiritual consciousness. In the human heart lies the doorway from material consciousness to spiritual consciousness. As explained in my book, "The Shift: The Revolution in Human Consciousness," there are two levels of heart-centered consciousness, and they resonate at different frequencies. It's a yin and yang situation. The lower, passive level is heartfelt consciousness, where the person adjusts to the experience of unconditional love. The higher, active level is heart-powered consciousness, where the person puts that heart-centered awareness into action. The doorway to spiritual consciousness is between those two levels of heart-centered awareness. There are two major tiers of human consciousness, each tier containing six stages. The basic tier has a materialistic focus and ranges from the earliest historical expression of human consciousness, all the way through the evolution of empowered action and achievement, and into heartfelt awareness. In this heartfelt state of consciousness, humans shift from supporting, for example, mindless commercial expansion into an awareness where the environment becomes an important issue. Humans then progress into the second tier of six stages of human evolution. This is the spiritual tier and, by stepping into it, mankind today is making a quantum leap in awareness. This is the essential nature of The Shift that is transforming today's society. As each human spends more and more time in the spiritual tier, they engage in more and more heart-powered action, changing the world through applied unconditional love. The average person in Western society today is still in the commercial expansion stage of consciousness, and yet with one foot very much planted in the heartfelt consciousness of ecology issues. Meanwhile, today's pioneers of The Shift are spending more and more time venturing into the spiritual tier of consciousness and, as a result, expanding the awareness of all of humanity. In conclusion: The generation of spiritual energy is carried out through spiritual intent applied to the universal supply of etheric energy. The spiritual tier of consciousness begins with heart-powered consciousness and is entered through the doorway of the heart. The degree of intent determines the amount of etheric energy that will be conditioned into spiritual energy. Intent is also used to direct the spiritual energy towards the desired objective, such as distance healing, world healing, or simply for enhancing meditation. 2007 has really been a magical year for the New Earth Transformation, which we have shared together through this blog. I am sure it will only get better. It has also been an amazing year for me personally. As I moved to Montreal to attend McGill University, and released the New Earth E-Book which has sold hundreds of copies in just a few months. I will be leaving for India in a few hours, which will be my second journey to India this year. I will be going there for a couple of weeks to attend my cousin's marriage. Access to the internet will be limited, and I will probably not be able to make any blog posts until I get back next year. The following article on "Religion and Spirituality" is an excellent article, discussing the differences between religion and spirituality while relating these ideas to the New Earth. Enjoy... We are living in a time of shifting paradigms. Many of the established religions, including Christian churches of all denominations, are currently witnessing an erosion of their memberships. Fewer people today look to the traditional religions and the churches for answers to their contemporary problems. Is this because the profoundly simple words of our great original teachers have been subsumed into an overbearing and controlling man made culture of fixed rules, regulations, rituals and dogmas? Consider the fact that Jesus Christ was never a Christian, Buddha was not a Buddhist, nor was Mohammed a Muslim. And while the traditional religions continue to lament their decline, the roots and branches of a vibrant new spirituality are forming everywhere. Another pathway is being chosen and experienced by many persons world wide. This new spirituality is expressing itself in the following ways: caring more actively for the environment, exploring Eastern religions and the practice of meditation, espousing social justice concerns, balancing male and female energies in all aspects of decision making, seeking a more abundant economic system for all and employing peaceful negotiation as a counter-balance to warfare. This new spirituality is growing steadily and powerfully today as our established cultural, political and economic systems all appear to fail us. Because our contemporary experiences of alienation are so overwhelming, a deep desire for a strong personal connection to a sacred presence within us, to our social structures and to nature itself is driving these changes forward. History reveals that during times of great change people head for the two extremes: either choosing fundamentalism of beliefs or a deeply personal spiritual experience. With no membership lists or even a coherent philosophy or dogma, it is difficult to define or measure the unorganized new spiritual movement. But in every major city, thousands who seek greater insight and personal growth now cluster around metaphysical bookstores and internet websites, a spiritual teacher or an education/meditation centre. A longitudinal study undertaken from 1991 to 1995, shows that practitioners of the new spirituality represent a steady 20% of the population and consistently fall within the third largest religious group. The new spirituality movement is in a class by itself. Unlike most established religions it has no holy text, central organization, formally constituted clergy, no geographic centre, creed or dogma. It is a free flowing spiritual movement, a network of believers and practitioners who share somewhat similar beliefs and practices. Their book and magazine publishers and a plethora of web sites take the place of a central organization. Seminars, conventions, books, informal study, prayer and meditation groups all replace traditional sermons and religious services. These new practices are often freely grafted onto whatever formal religious faith is still adhered to. In the coming new age we may even witness the fusion of spirituality with science and the unifying of the major religions. This will be achieved by re-focusing on all the simple but profound truths that are commonly held among the great religions, while pruning away all the man made dogmas, cultural beliefs and rules that divide and separate us. Many of the old outmoded teachings are already being discarded. The love-based empowering religious beliefs will be retained while the fear-based controlling concepts will fall by the wayside. In future the religions that survive are those that are willing to expand their philosophy and theology to incorporate the higher Creator truths. And while it may seem that established religions and the new spirituality exist at opposite ends of the spectrum no opposition needs to exist between the two. But before considering this further, let us first define a religionist and then a spiritualist. A religionist is a person who follows a codified doctrine or dogma in blind faith without questioning it. The religionist also obeys a set of rules or a text (the Bible, Torah, Koran etc.) to guide one’s every move. In the world of a religionist the Creator is viewed as an all powerful male being, singular in itself that rules over human awareness and watches every move to judge the worthiness of each participant. Those who are designated to speak for this power determine that which is right or wrong. The religionists believe that the Creator will do everything for them and if they give their best, their reward will be to ascend into heaven where joy and beauty abound. A spiritualist is one who realizes that human society is in a constant state of evolutionary change, thus he or she must continue to resolve the possibilities that every new opportunity brings. As each life experience contains a learning lesson, the self-imposed beliefs of others must not be allowed to dissuade the potentiality of one’s evolution. To the spiritualist, the Creator is the Omni Presence of all light in creation and is held within each human and all things that exist. In order to return to the fullness of the Creator’s Light the learning of all lessons must be experienced with every possible encounter met and completed. Each one must develop fully and heal through the awakening of the love essence within. The religionist believes in the ‘Spirit of One,’ - the acceptance of a fixed belief as the universal ideal for all. But against the walls of established dogma new experiences, awareness and teachings frequently collide and new insights are excluded. While these people may worship, study and strengthen their minds, obedience to the rules and defense of the walls becomes their purpose. Militancy is their virtue and evangelizing for converts their activity. Fear and prejudice against others frequently results. The motto of the religionist may be, ‘Only we have the truth.’ Because of their rigid adherence to a set of fixed and unchanging beliefs their minds will continue to remain tightly closed. The spiritualist believes in the ‘Oneness of Spirit.’ The new spirituality is the opposite of established religion in that it is holistic rather than dualistic, incarnational rather than transcendental, inclusive rather than patriarchal, environmental rather than anthropocentric and democratic rather than hierarchical. Since each human soul is known to be a particle of the Creator’s Light we must return to a remembering that all was brought to life in love. One believes and knows that separation from the Creator’s essence is only an illusion. We then understand that we have never left the Creator’s Light because we are that very Light ourselves. The spiritualist will not impose a set of beliefs upon another as it is believed that the Creator wishes to experience infinite variations on the theme of spirituality. The motto of the spiritualist may well be, ‘Let all the flowers bloom in their individual truth and beauty.’ And so in our daily lives many of us freely assume our own co-creative powers and honor our own creations by choosing to experience different journeys on the Earth plane. And within the great Creator’s light of which we are all a part and there is only the unity of love, then we might perceive this experience as a matrix in space and time wherein humanity is encouraged to experience and play out every possibility. A new sense of responsible freedom will emerge as we acknowledge the Creator’s respect for the free will decisions of all its creations. And so the choice of the religionist is one journey and the choice of the spiritualist is another. In the Father’s house there are many mansions and the focus and experiences of either journey can be freely chosen for the particular growth possibilities each provides. Neither one journey is better than the other as all paths hold the potential to lead us to the fullness of the Creator’s light and love. The Buddhist concept of the Middle Path is very consistent with the new spirituality that is emerging today. The following quote by an unknown author sums this up so well. “The middle path is inclusive of the opposites without being controlled by one or the other. It values both - the positive and the negative, the higher and the lower. This new spirituality that is seeking to manifest is a challenge to the consciousness of people who are caught either in the old religious dichotomies, or in reactions to the old style religions. The traditional religious dichotomies describe reality in terms of right and wrong, good and evil, with specific belief systems clearly defining which is which. Those who take the opposite stance of discrediting these views maintain that there are no such objective standards, or at least not in the way they are traditionally defined. Instead the new spirituality avoids any judging of opposites and finds value in all expressions of life. It understands that whatever exists is part of the whole, and therefore is meaningful in terms of potential learning for us humans. Much of what people see as wrong or evil is a great challenge to our selfishness and ignorance, urging us toward compassion and understanding. It is not a matter of identifying what is wrong and trying to eradicate it, but to discover what the lessons are and learn from them. The so-called negative side of life exists as a means of teaching us what we would not otherwise be challenged to learn. And if we learn what we are challenged to learn, the negative no longer needs to be present for its purpose has been served. Through our learning we are then capable of expanding our consciousness and being of greater service to others. My research tells me that in no way does it imply the mass ascension of everyone on this planet, because that would go against the freewill of those who instead of being ready for a higher realm are stubbornly content with the lower. Nor will it happen precisely on December 21, 2012 because that date is supposedly based only only two things: when the Mayan calendar ends and when the sun on winter solstice overlaps the galactic center; the first is of questionable dating while the second already occurred in 1998. The Shift may in fact be more the dimensional effect of a broad wave whose central peak resides on or after 2012, whereby the years immediately before and after the peak might be just as significant. My best estimate is that the window of 2012-2032 is of greater importance than the winter solstice of 2012 itself. What does the Shift entail? As best as I can tell, it is an ungluing of our consensual collective reality so that the dissonant sectors of the population can diverge onto separate time streams, and then into separate realms of existence altogether. It is a higher degree expression of the same Realm Dynamics underlying our daily experiences. At the moment we all share the same planet, and separation among people of incompatible learning paths amounts to geographic separation at best, but more usually involves a simple synchronistic barrier between them so that they rarely cross paths in life. But as the polarization increases and the repulsive tension between dissonant population sectors grow, and as conditions on this planet increasingly leave less room for everyone’s freewill to be accommodated in the same space and time, there will be increasing pressure for more extreme means of separation. According to Realm Dynamics, what begins as mere dislike between individuals can grow to parting of ways, a parting of timelines, and finally parting of dimensions. It is cellular mitosis on the hyper dimensional scale. What causes the Shift? Why is it cyclical? Why does it relate to astronomical alignments? It may be that our solar system will be passing through a region of spacetime whose conditions vary greatly from our current region. Or perhaps rather than our going toward it, it is coming toward us. Either way, it is worth hypothesizing what physical mechanism could substantiate the Shift. It’s possible that radiating outwardly from the galactic center are spiral arms of greatly altered gravitational potential. As our solar system moves around the galactic center, it will cyclically enter and exit these spiral arms so that all planets and the Sun experience a simultaneous change in their gravitational potential. Others may have hypothesized similarly, but in this article I will follow this concept through to its logical conclusion and show you why the implications profoundly explain everything we can confidently say concerning the Shift.
