T&T Government Solutions has been awarded an extension to its existing Justice Unified Telecommunications Network (JUTNet) order with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). Verizon Business' Voice Continuity service is now available to federal customers under the U.S. General Services Administration's Washington Interagency Telecommunications System (WITS) 2001 contract for federal agencies within the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. Verizon Business' Voice Continuity services, offered in conjunction with TeleContinuity Inc., help federal and state government agencies meet continuity of operations planning (COOP) requirements. Paradigm Holdings has been awarded a contract with the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) to implement a crisis/incident management system. As part of the contract, which was awarded on September 15, 2006, NARA will purchase and utilize Paradigm's web based Continuity of Operations (COOP) program development and implementation software tool, OpsPlanner. This solution will enhance NARA's ability to automate and streamline the contingency plan activation and crisis/incident management process. NCI, provider of information technology services and solutions to U.S. federal government agencies, said that its wholly-owned subsidiary, NCI Information Systems, was awarded a one year task order with a value of $4.9 million. This new project will provide the Air National Guard a comprehensive Continuity of Operations (COOP) capability to protect their business-critical data from disasters. NCI will design, develop, migrate, and implement the necessary equipment and software to provide data and applications continuity accessible from Air National Guard headquarter facilities, other COOP locations, and various remote sites.
