What is Glycolic Acid?

Glycolic acid is perhaps the best-known of a group of chemicals called fruit acids or alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA). Obtained from sugar cane, it is considered a natural product. Citric acid from oranges and other citrus fruits also fall under the same classification as glycolic acid.

Who should use Glycolic Acid (AHA) Treatments?

AHA treatments are suggested for those whose skin is showing premature and unwanted signs of ageing. Regular application can improve brown spots, fine lines and dry spots (a.k.a solar keratoses). Glycolic acid may also prove helpful for those prone to acne.

How Does It Work? Glycolic acid works as an exfoliating agent because of its high acidity but easy solubility. AHAs loosen the glue-like substances that hold the surface skin cells to each other, therefore allowing the dead skin to peel off. The skin underneath has a fresher, healthier look with a more even colour and texture.

When used regularly, it may also affect the deeper layers of the skin. Collagen and elastin regenerate making fine lines less obvious.

Another benefit is glycolic acid's capability to draw moisturizers into the newly-exfoliated skin surface.

Directions

After cleansing face, apply by using moistened cotton or with fingertips and pat over entire face. Do not rub. Facial skin is now properly prepared for Glycolic Acid Cream and other day & night creams.

What to expec t during use?

Treated skin may be a little pink immediately after treatment. A little peeling may occur over the next few days. It can be disguised with moisturizer or normal make-up.

my SHIH TZU, Lime, gave birth to 4 adorable pups last April 17.

their dad, Shaolin

3 females and 1 male. all are solid colored-- pet shop owners call it "mahogany", some "blue" others "red"... but with extensive research i've done on books and the internet, my pups are either LIVER(chocolate to others, distinguised by pigmentation on their nose, eyelids and lips) or RED(maho gany) i will be able to determine exactly when they are about a month old.

ALL 4 PUPS ARE FOR SALE/RESERVATION... they will be ready to new loving homes by mid-June.

Along with each pup, a pedigree (Philippine Canine Club, Inc. Certified Pedigree and Registration Certificate) is provided so that you may transfer ownership of the puppy, trace their heritage back in time and show the Champions within their bloodline. I can give information on my pedigrees upon your request, I did not post them here because being a hobby breeder, and my furry darlings usually bought as pets (lap dogs, and beloved companions) I feel one should buy the pup for the pup, and not the lines. I do not promote my babies as "show quality" or with "champion lines", though they may possess one or both.
How much are the puppies? The cost of aquiring one of my puppies depends on a lot of things-- gender (females usually cost more), coat and color (thicker coat and solids are more expensive), etc etc... Considering all these and more, my prices for this litter are as follows:

Male: Php13,000
Female: Php15,000

Why are your puppies so expensive? I can get one much cheaper in the paper? The saying goes, "You get what you pay for!" More than once I have been tempted by 'bargain puppy' prices-- i paid dearly for that choice. I do not make money or a profit from the sales of my babies.This is put back in to food, shots, health care, vet visits and time invested, just to name a few. Be assured, my dogs come from healthy parents and healthy family lines, and the puppies are vet checked before going to their new homes. I beleive my prices reasonable (I've actually paid more for my dog!)Considering my pups come well socialized, vaccinated, wormed and ready for their new homes. The money you will save from not having vet bills from an unhealthy puppy, and the assurance that you are getting a healthy family companion is priceless.Also, unlike many who sell bargain priced puppies, I would gladly help you with any questions you may have as your puppy grows. Please do not come to me wit h an absurd "tawad" expecting to get a great bargain for my pups... This is not my business, this is my passion,my love.
