European Professional Software EPS releases its new Data Protection system called SafeGuard
SafeGuard® is an advanced unattended safety management system for computer data. It backs up network folders and files and stores them selectively on one or more PCs. It scans the computers connected to the LAN and saves only new or modified files.
o It stores saved files in a database.
o It creates and maintains a mirror copy of each computer folder saved.
o The mirror is at the same time a network disk.
o The database can restore individual file.
With the mirror image, the data of the defective PC is already backed and can be used immediately. By connecting to the mirror, which is another PC on the LAN, the user can continue working while his replacement computer is being installed.
With the database, the SafeGuard® can also recreate the folder and files as they were at any given date in the past.
Users can also use the database to recover lost or damaged individual files. Tue, 13 Feb 2007 14:17:52 +0100 SafeGuard® is a Backup and Restore system with additional outstanding features.

While SafeGuard ® backs up files, the Replicator clones the operation by repeating each action of the SafeGuard ®, in real time. What is obtained is a full clone-copy of the SafeGuard ® Database, located on yet another machine. It can be installed anywhere on the internet.
