• Resized time control in daily, weekly & periodic alarms configuration, the activation time is now shown in full if Windows displays a 12 hour clock format.

This is to advise that Chronos Clock V3.06 Build 12 has been released. This revision includes the following changes:

• Fixed SAPI Night time announcements bug. Chronos now remains silent if configured to do so in Spoken Announcements settings.
• Re-enabled MS Agent speech using Sapi4 voices with Windows Vista. Alterations to Vista had disabled the Sapi4 voices in MS Agents. Chronos now has a workaround.
• Revised Time zone & Time Server data files.

• Event/Countdown timer display re-written to support user custom format similar to the clock display.
• Fixed bug which crashed Chronos if it was set to synchronize the PC's clock on start p and announce the result using the speech system.
• Fixed display alignment bug. Chronos now repositions the clock bar on start-up if the display resolution has changed and the clock bar is off screen.
• Fixed Alarm Notification Remind Later Bug. After selection the notification dialog is closed.
• Updated time server data file.
• Updated time zone data file.
• Updated installer to new version.

Compatibility Chronos version 3 is compatible with Windows 2000/XP/2003 and Windows Vista, however support for Windows 98/ME/NT4 has been discontinued.

Chronos Clock version 3.01.10 Beta is now available for download. This beta includes the following minor bug fixes/changes since the release of V3.00

• Fixed bug in Clock Manager\New Timer. Creating a new countdown timer no longer creates a running timer.
• Fixed Calendar display bug. The calendar was not the right size at some screen resolutions.
• Fixed Alarm Message box bug. Alarm messages are now displayed topmost (that is on top of all other windows).
• Fixed Microsoft Agent automatic time announcements bug.
• Altered the security level Chronos runs at on Windows Vista. Version 3.00 ran at the highest level so that the time synchronization function wasn't blocked by Vista's User Account Control. Unfortunately running at the highest level then caused the UAC to always query when Chronos starts up. However this change now means that time synchronization will not work on Vista Systems if the User Account Control is enabled.
