Dear All,
We have both and bad news. Let's start with the bad news: Dotgeek will move to another dedicated server by end September (perhaps before, so far the news is not so bad) and I decided to stop the free public hosting service.
The main reason is that there isn't someone looking after the hosting, it is too time consuming, and now hosting is affordable and pretty much anywhere.
Furthermore, the new server will have no cpanel or hosting panel.
The good news is that Dotgeek is not going to disappear and will start a contest. Every user will have the chance to post his code and compete with other members. As always we will have some good prizes for the winner !!
We will have also working forums and more stuff to make .geek once again a community, not a place where to get hosting and disappear forever !!
I will be offering hosting selectively to the people that contributed to .geek ! For the rest (public hosting) please backup your files asap and try to find a new hosting !
